incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
အကျွန်ုပ်စိတ်နှလုံးကို လောဘဘက်သို့မဟုတ်၊ သက်သေခံတော်မူချက်တို့ ဘက်သို့ ဆွဲတော်မူပါ။

o thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, and the measure of thy covetousness.
များစွာသော ရေအနားမှာနေ၍ စည်းစိမ်ကြီး သောသူ၊ သင်၏ဆုံးရှုံးချိန်၊ သင်၏လောဘ အလိုပျက်ချိန် ရောက်လေပြီ။

but fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
မတရားသော မေထုန်၌မှီဝဲခြင်း၊ အမျိုးမျိုးသော ကိလေသာညစ်ညူးခြင်း၊ လောဘလွန်ကျူးခြင်း အမှုတို့ကို သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့သည် ရှောင်သင့်သည်အတိုင်း၊ စကားဖြင့်မျှ မဆက်ဆံကြနှင့်။

for neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; god is witness:
အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ သင်တို့သိကြသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ငါတို့သည် ချော့မော့သောစကားကို တခါမျှမသုံး၊ ဝှက်ထားသော လောဘစိတ်အလျှင်းမရှိကြောင်းကို ဘုရားသခင်သည် ငါတို့သက်သေ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

for from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူမှစ၍ အကြီးဆုံးသော သူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မတရားသော စီးပွားကိုရှာကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်မှစ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ရှိသမျှတို့သည် မုသာကို သုံးကြ၏။

and through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
သူတို့သည် လောဘလွန်ကျူးလျက် ချော့မော့ သော စကားနှင့် သင်တို့ကိုကုန်သွယ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းသည် ရှေးကာလ မှစ၍ မဖင့်မနွဲ၊ သူတို့ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းသည်လည်း အိပ်၍မပျော်။

for the iniquity of his covetousness was i wroth, and smote him: i hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
သူ၏လောဘလွန်ကျူးခြင်း အပြစ်ကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် အမျက်ထွက်၍ ဒဏ်ခတ်လေ၏။ အမျက်ထွက်၍ မျက်နှာကို လွှဲလေ၏။ သူသည်လည်း မိမိအလိုရှိရာ လမ်း သို့ လွှဲသွားလေ၏။

and he said unto them, take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
ထိုမှတပါး လောဘလွန်ကျူးခြင်းကို သတိနှင့် ကြဉ်ရှောင်ကြလော့။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ စည်းစိမ်ရှိသော် လည်း စည်းစိမ်၌ အသက်မတည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
ထိုကြောင့် မတရားသော မေထုန်၌မှီဝဲခြင်း၊ ညစ်ညူးစွာကျင့်ခြင်း၊ ကိလေသာပူပန်ခြင်း၊ ဆိုးညစ် သော တပ်မက်ခြင်း၊ ရုပ်တုကို ကိုးကွယ်ခြင်းဖြစ်သော လောဘလွန်ကျူးခြင်းတည်းဟူသော၊ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ ရှိသော သင်တို့၏ ကိုယ်အင်္ဂါတို့ကို သေစေကြလော့။

therefore will i give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
ထိုအကြောင်းကြောင့်၊ သူတို့မယားများကို သူတပါးတို့၌ ငါအပ်မည်။ သူတို့လယ်ယာများကို သူတပါးတို့အား အပိုင်ပေးမည်။ အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူမှစ၍ အကြီးဆုံးသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် မတရားသော စီးပွားကို ရှာကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်မှစ၍ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ရှိသမျှတို့သည် မုသာကို သုံးကြ၏။

and they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
ငါ၏လူကဲ့သို့ သင့်ထံသို့လာ၍၊ ငါ၏လူကဲ့သို့ သင့်ရှေ့မှာထိုင်လျက်၊ သင်၏စကားကိုကြာသော်လည်း၊ နားမထောင်ဘဲနေကြ၏။ အလွန်ချစ်ဘွယ်သော လက္ခဏာကို နှုန်နှင့်ပြသော်လည်း၊ စိတ်နှလုံးမူကား လောကီ ဥစ္စာကိုစွဲလမ်းလျက်ရှိ၏။
