စိမ်းသော သစ်ပင်ရှိသမျှ အောက်မှာ ရုပ်တု ဆင်းတု၌ တပ်မက်သောသူ၊ ချိုင့်ထဲ၊ ကျောက်စောင်း အောက်မှာ သူငယ်ကို သတ်သောသူမဟုတ်လော။

and behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.

and it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and i was left, that i fell upon my face, and cried, and said, ah lord god! wilt thou destroy all the residue of israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon jerusalem?
