ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲔⲘⲎⲚ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲔⲀϮ.

and all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
ⲚⲀⲨⲦⲰⲘⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲈⲘⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈϤϪⲒⲚⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ.

wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the lord is.
ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲦⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲔⲀϮ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.

without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
ⲚⲀⲦⲔⲀϮ ⲚⲀⲦϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚⲀⲦϢⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲀⲦⲚⲀⲒ

for if i pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲒϢⲀⲚⲦⲰⲂϨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲖⲀⲤ ⲠⲀⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲠⲈⲦⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲠⲀϨⲎⲦ ⲆⲈ ϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ.

desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲈⲢⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲈⲔⲀϮ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ.

for it is written, i will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
ⲤⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲄⲀⲢ ϪⲈ ϮⲚⲀⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲚⲦⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲈⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈⲘⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲔⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲦϮⲚⲀϢⲞϢϤ.

it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent theophilus,
ⲀⲤⲢⲀⲚⲎⲒ ϨⲰ ⲈⲀⲒⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲀϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ⲈⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲔⲢⲀⲦⲒⲤⲦⲈ ⲐⲈⲞⲪⲒⲖⲈ.

the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
ⲈⲐⲢⲞⲨⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲂⲀⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ϪⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀϢ ⲦⲈ ϮϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤⲐⲰϨⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϪⲈ ⲀϢ ⲦⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈϤⲔⲖⲎⲢⲞⲚⲞⲘⲒⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲀⲄⲒⲞⲤ.

here is wisdom. let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred threescore and six.
ϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲎⲦ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤϤⲒⲰⲠ ⲚⲦⲎⲠⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲐⲎⲢⲒⲞⲚ ⲦⲎⲠⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈϤⲎⲠⲒ ⲬⲜ ⲚⲈ.

and he saith unto them, are ye so without understanding also? do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲦⲔⲀϮ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲀϮ ϪⲈ ϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲐⲚⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲰϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲤⲞϤϤ

and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔϨⲎ ⲦⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲈⲔϪⲞⲘ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲀϮ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲠⲈⲔϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲢⲎϮ ⲤⲈⲞⲒ ⲚⲚⲒϢϮ ⲈⲚⲒϬⲖⲒⲖ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϢⲞⲨϢⲰⲞⲨϢⲒ.

and we know that the son of god is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son jesus christ. this is the true god, and eternal life.
