그들의 순결을 지키는 자들이라

abstain from all appearance of evil.
악 은 모 든 모 양 이 라 도 버 리 라

for this is the will of god, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
하 나 님 의 뜻 은 이 것 이 니 너 희 의 거 룩 함 이 라 곧 음 란 을 버 리

abstain from sin, be it either open or secret. indeed those who commit sins shall surely be requited for all they have done.
보이는 죄악도 보이지 않는죄악도 모두 버리라 하였으니 저 지른 죄악은 그가 저지른 죄악으 로 보상을 발을 것이라

dearly beloved, i beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
사 랑 하 는 자 들 아 나 그 네 와 행 인 같 은 너 희 를 권 하 노 니 영 혼 을 거 스 려 싸 우 는 육 체 의 정 욕 을 제 어 하

but that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
다 만 우 상 의 더 러 운 것 과 음 행 과 목 매 어 죽 인 것 과 피 를 멀 리 하 라 고 편 지 하 는 것 이 가 하

satan seeks to sow enmity and hatred among you by means of wine and gambling, and to keep you from the remembrance of god and from your prayers. will you not then abstain?
사탄은 너희가운데 적의와 중오를 유발시키려 하니 술과 도 박으로써 하나님을 염원하고 예 배하려 함을 방해하려 하도다 너 희는 단념하지 않겠느뇨

so we answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. and thus we do deliver the believers (who believe in the oneness of allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).
하나님은 호소에 응하사 그 를 고통으로부터 구하고 믿는 신 앙인들을 구원했노라

(as for) women that are past childbearing who have no hope of marriage there is no fault in them that they discard their cloaks provided they do not reveal their adornments, but it is better if they abstain. allah is the hearer, the knower.
나이가 들어 부부생활을 원 하지 아니한 여성들이 유혹을 하 는 부분을 제외하고는 옷을 벗어 도 죄악은 아니라 그러나 자제 하는 것이 그녀들에게 덕 좋으니라 실로 하나님은 들으심과 아심으로충만하시니라
