너는 우리와 같은 한 인간 에 불과하노라 우리는 네가 거짓 말장이라 믿노라

사드 교훈으로 충만한 꾸란 은 진리라

a group of the unbelievers among his people said, "you look to us like a fool and we think that you are a liar".
그의 백성가운데 믿지 아니 한 자들의 우두머리가 우리는 당 신을 어리석은 자로 보며 우리는 당신이 거짓하는 사람으로 생각한다고 대답하더라

and when you are journeying in the land, there is no fault in you that you shorten the prayer if you fear that those who disbelieve will afflict you. indeed, the unbelievers are a clear enemy for you.
여행중에는 예배를 단축해 도 되나 이때는 불신자들의 공격 이 있을까 너희가 염려될 때라 실로 불신자들은 확실한 너희의 적이라

and o my people, i ask not of you for it any wealth. my reward is not but from allah. and i am not one to drive away those who have believed. indeed, they will meet their lord, but i see that you are a people behaving ignorantly.
백성들이여 내가 너희에게 재물을 요구하지 않노라 나의 보 상은 오로지 하나님께 있느니라 나는 믿는 신도들을 저버리지 아 니하니 그들은 주님을 상봉하리 라 그러나 너희는 무지한 백성임 을 내가 보고 있노라

o my people, i do not ask you for any money for this; my reward comes only from god. i will not drive away those who believe; they shall surely meet their lord. yet i see that you are a people who act out of ignorance.
백성들이여 내가 너희에게 재물을 요구하지 않노라 나의 보 상은 오로지 하나님께 있느니라 나는 믿는 신도들을 저버리지 아 니하니 그들은 주님을 상봉하리 라 그러나 너희는 무지한 백성임 을 내가 보고 있노라

if you are slain or die in god's way, forgiveness and mercy from god are a better thing than that you amass;
하나님의 길에서 살해 당했거나 죽었다면 하나님으로부터 관 용과 자비가 있을지니 이는 생전 에 축적한 것보다 나으리라

"and o my people! i ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from none but allah. i am not going to drive away those who have believed. surely, they are going to meet their lord, but i see that you are a people that are ignorant.
백성들이여 내가 너희에게 재물을 요구하지 않노라 나의 보 상은 오로지 하나님께 있느니라 나는 믿는 신도들을 저버리지 아 니하니 그들은 주님을 상봉하리 라 그러나 너희는 무지한 백성임 을 내가 보고 있노라

he said, ‘the knowledge [of when that threat will be carried out] is with allah alone. i communicate to you what i have been sent with. but i see that you are a senseless lot.’
그가 말하였더라 하나님만이그것을 아시는 것으로 나는 내게 주어진 계시만을 너희에게 전할 뿐이라 그러나 너희는 오만한 백 성임을 내가 알고 있노라

the leaders of the people who were unbelievers, replied: "we see that you are but a man like us, and see that none among us follows you but the meanest and immature of judgement, and do not see any excellence in you above us. in fact, we think you are a liar."
그의 백성가운데 불신자들 의 수장이 말하길 우리는 그대를 우리와 같은 인간으로 밖엔 보지 아니하며 우리 가운데 가장 비천 한 자들 외에 그대를 따르는 어느 누구도 보지 못하였노라 우리는 너희 중에서 우리보다 우월한 것 을 보지 못했으니 우리는 너희가 거짓말장이로 생각할 뿐이라

(the messengers) said: "the augury is within your own selves. do you (consider it a bad omen) that you should be warned? you are a people guilty of excess."
이때 선지자들이 말하길 너 희의 흉조는 너희와 함께 있노라 너희가 훈계를 받았음에도 그러 느뇨 너희는 죄악에 빠진 백성이라
