އެއީ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ދަރިކަލަކުވާކަމަށް އެއުރެން ގޮވުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ.

due to their ascribing of an offspring to the most gracious.
އެއީ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ދަރިކަލަކުވާކަމަށް އެއުރެން ގޮވުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނެވެ.

and most of them do not believe in allah without ascribing partners to him.
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން، شريك ކުރާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައި މެނުވީ، اللَّه އަށް إيمان އެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

and most of them are such that they do not believe in allah except while ascribing partners (to him)!
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން، شريك ކުރާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައި މެނުވީ، اللَّه އަށް إيمان އެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

and then, when he averts the misfortune from you, a group among you starts ascribing partners to their lord!
ދެން އެކަލާނގެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން، އެ ދަތިحال ފިއްލަވައިފިނަމަ، އެހާރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންކުރެ ބަޔަކު، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ކުރެތެވެ.

but when they were given a healthy son, they started ascribing to other powers a share in what god had bestowed on them. but god is above what they ascribe to him.
ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުންނަށް صالح ދަރިއަކު ދެއްވިހިނދު، އެކަލާނގެ އެ ދެމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި ދެއްވުމާމެދު، އެ ދެމީހުން (އެބަހީ: آدم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކޮޅުގެ މީހުންކުރެ كافر ވިމީހުން) އެކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ންތަކެއް ލައިފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شريك ކުރާ ތަކެތި ފިޔަވައި، اللَّه މަތިވެރިވެ ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

the all knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so supremacy is to him over their ascribing of partners (to him).
(އެކަލާނގެއީ) ނުފެންނަ ކަންތަކާއި، ފެންނަ ކަންތައް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން شريك ކުރާ ތަކެއްޗަށްވުރެން އެކަލާނގެ މަތިވެރިވެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

and when they board the ships they pray to allah, believing purely in him; so when he delivers them safely to land, they immediately begin ascribing partners (to him)!
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ނަވަށް އެރިހިނދު، އެކަލާނގެއަށް إيمان ކަން خالص ކުރާ حال ގައި، اللَّه އަށް އެއުރެން دعاء ކުރެތެވެ. ފަހެ އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ސަލާމަތް ކުރައްވައި، އެއްގަމަށް ގެންނެވިހިނދު، އެއުރެން (އެކަލާނގެއަށް) شريك ކުރެތެވެ.

devoting yourself to allah, not ascribing any partner to him; and whoever ascribes partners to allah is as if he has fallen from the sky and the birds snatch him or the wind blows him away to a far-off place.
اللَّه އަށް إخلاص ތެރިވެ، باطل މަގުން އެއްކިބާވެ، حق ގެ މަގަށް تبع ވެތިބެ، އެކަލާނގެއަށް شريك ނުކުރާ حال ގައެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށް شريك ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހާ އުޑުން ވެއްޓި، ދޫނިތައް އެމީހާ ޖަހައިގަނެގެން ގެންދާ ނުވަތަ ވައިގެ ބާރުން ދުރުތަނަކަށް ވެއްޓިގެންދާ މީހެއްފަދައެވެ.

"we say nothing but that (perhaps) some of our gods may have seized thee with imbecility." he said: "i call allah to witness, and do ye bear witness, that i am free from the sin of ascribing, to him,
ތިމަންމެންގެ ބައެއް إله ން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ނުބައި ކަމެއް ޖައްސައިފިކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ތިމަންމެން ނުބުނާނޫއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شريك ކޮށް އުޅޭ ތަކެތިން، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބަރީއަވެގެންވާކަމަށް اللَّه ހެކިކުރައްވަމެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވެސް ހެކިވާށެވެ!
