އެ މޫނުތަކަށް ކަޅުއަނދިރިކަމެއް ވެރިވާނެތެވެ.

then the rest we overwhelmed in the flood.
ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެހެންމީހުން (އެބަހީ: كافر ން) غرق ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their lord –
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ބިރުވެތިވުމުން އެކަލާނގެ عذاب އަށް ބިރުވެތިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

pharaoh followed them with his hosts, but they were overwhelmed by the sea;
ފަހެ، فرعون އޭނާގެ لشكر އާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ކަނޑުގެ ލޮނުގަނޑު އެ لشكر އެކަށް ފޮރުވާލައި ނިވާކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.

pharaoh pursued them with his hosts, but they were fully overwhelmed by the sea.
ފަހެ، فرعون އޭނާގެ لشكر އާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ކަނޑުގެ ލޮނުގަނޑު އެ لشكر އެކަށް ފޮރުވާލައި ނިވާކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.

the evil consequences of their misdeeds overtook them and what they mocked at overwhelmed them.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން عمل ކުޅަގޮތުގެ ނުބައި ޖަޒާތައް، އެއުރެންނަށް ޖެހުނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެކަމަކަށް މަލާމާތްކޮށް އުޅުނު ކަންތައް އައިސް އެއުރެން ވަށައިލިއެވެ.

so the earthquake overwhelmed them, and morning found them prostrate in their dwelling places.
ދެންފަހެ، ބިރުވެރި ބިންހެލުމެއް އެއުރެންނަށް އައިސްޖެހުނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ގެތަކުގައި، ކަކޫމައްޗަށް ތިރިވެ، މަރުވެފައިތިބި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ވެއްޖައޫއެވެ.

pharaoh pursued them with his legions so they were overwhelmed from the sea with that which drowned them.
ފަހެ، فرعون އޭނާގެ لشكر އާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ކަނޑުގެ ލޮނުގަނޑު އެ لشكر އެކަށް ފޮރުވާލައި ނިވާކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.

then pharaoh pursued them with his forces, but the waters completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.
ފަހެ، فرعون އޭނާގެ لشكر އާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ކަނޑުގެ ލޮނުގަނޑު އެ لشكر އެކަށް ފޮރުވާލައި ނިވާކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.

but they rejected him, so the earthquake overwhelmed them and they were left lying prostrate on the ground in their homes.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެބަހީ: شعيب ގެފާނު) ދޮގުކުޅައޫއެވެ. ދެން ބިރުވެރި ބިންހެލުމެއް އެމީހުންނަށް އައިސްޖެހުނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ގެތަކުގައި ކަކޫމައްޗަށްތިރިވެ، މަރުވެފައިތިބި ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި އެބައިމީހުން ވެއްޖައޫއެވެ.

they will say: "our lord! our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray!
އެއުރެން ދަންނަވާނެތެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! ތިމަންމެންގެ އަބާއްޖަވެރިކަން ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް ގަދަވެގަތީއެވެ. އަދި މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ވީމުއެވެ.

then they belied him, and they hamstrung her; wherefore their lord overwhelmed them for their crime, and made it equal.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ބަސްފުޅު ދޮގުކުޅައޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން އެ ޖަމަލު މަރައިލޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ފާފައިގެ ސަބަބުން އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް عذاب ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެންމެން، އެ عذاب ގައި ހަމަހަމަ ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

then fir'aun (pharaoh) pursued them with his hosts, but the sea-water completely overwhelmed them and covered them up.
ފަހެ، فرعون އޭނާގެ لشكر އާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ދެން ކަނޑުގެ ލޮނުގަނޑު އެ لشكر އެކަށް ފޮރުވާލައި ނިވާކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.

what is the matter with you, divided into two factions regarding the hypocrites, when god himself has overwhelmed them on account of what they did? do you want to guide those whom god has led astray?
ފަހެ، منافق ންނާމެދުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެބަޔަކަށް ބެހިގެންދާންވީ ކީއްވެގެންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެންކުޅަ عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، اللَّه އެއުރެން كافر ކަމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ރައްދުކުރައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه މަގުފުރައްދަވާފައިވާ މީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގު ދައްކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދެނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ اللَّه މަގުފުރައްދަވާ މީހާ، (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގު ދައްކަވާނެ މަގެއް ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް ފެނިވަޑައެއް ނުގަންނަވާނެތެވެ.

but they rejected him, and we delivered him, and those with him, in the ark: but we overwhelmed in the flood those who rejected our signs. they were indeed a blind people!
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ. ދެން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނާއި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުގައި ނާކޮޅުގައިވާ އެންމެން ސަލާމަތް ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންރަސްްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުރި މީހުން غرق ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެމީހުންވީ (حق ގެ މަގު ނުފެންނަ) ކަނު ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

"but construct an ark under our eyes and our inspiration, and address me no (further) on behalf of those who are in sin: for they are about to be overwhelmed (in the flood)."
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ބެއްލެވުމުގެ ދަށުން، އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ وحى އާއެކު، ކަލޭގެފާނު ނާކޮޅު ބަންނަވާށެވެ! އަދި އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންނާ މެދުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް ނުދަންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަކީ، غرق ކުރައްވާނޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.
