and within yourselves. can you not perceive?
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކުގައިވެސްމެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނައި ނުބަލަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

indeed in this are signs for people who perceive.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތަކުގައި، ވިސްނައި ފިކުރުކުރާ މީހުންނަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and in your own selves; so can you not perceive?
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކުގައިވެސްމެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނައި ނުބަލަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

so that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވެސް އެނގިތިއްބައި، އެ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނާނީ ކުއްލިއަކަށެވެ.

and in your souls [as well]. will you not then perceive?
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކުގައިވެސްމެއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނައި ނުބަލަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވެސް އެނގިތިއްބައި، އެ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނާނީ ކުއްލިއަކަށެވެ.

it shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވެސް އެނގިތިއްބައި، އެ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނާނީ ކުއްލިއަކަށެވެ.

indeed we have sent down an arabic qur’an, so that you may perceive.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ފޮތް ބާވައިލެއްވީ، عرب ބަހުންއޮތް قرآن އެއް ކަމުގައެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވިސްނައި ފިކުރުކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

dead are they, not alive; and they perceive not when they will be raised up.
(އެއީ) މަރުވެފައިވާ، ދިރުމެއްނުވާ ތަކެއްޗެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން (އެހެން ދިރުމަކަށް) ފޮނުއްވާނެ އިރެއް އެ ތަކެއްޗަކަށް ނޭނގެތެވެ.

and it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive;
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނުވެސް އެނގިތިއްބައި، އެ عذاب އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އަންނާނީ ކުއްލިއަކަށެވެ.

do they only wait for the hour that it shall come upon them suddenly, while they perceive not?
އެއުރެންނަށް ނޭނގިތިއްބައި ކުއްލިޔަކަށް قيامة ވުމުގެ ވަގުތު އަތުވެދާނެކަމަށް މެނުވީ، އެއުރެން انتظار އެއް ނުކުރެތެވެ.

allah alternates the day and the night; indeed in this is a lesson for those who can perceive.
اللَّه، ރޭދުވާ ބަދަލުކުރައްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް އެކަމުގައި، عبرة އެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

then leave me alone with such as belie this quran. we shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.
ފަހެ، މި قرآن ދޮގުކުރާމީހުން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ދޫކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ! އެއުރެންނަށް ނޭނގޭނޭގޮތުން (عذاب ގެ ތެރެޔަށް) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެއުރެން ނިކަންހުރެ ގެންދަވާހުށީމެވެ.

and follow the best of what was revealed to you from your lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive,
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ބާވައިލެއްވި އެންމެމޮޅު وحى އަށް (އެބަހީ: قرآن އަށް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނުވެސްއެނގި ތިއްބައި، ކުއްލިޔަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عذاب އައުމުގެ ކުރިންނެވެ.

and how many have we destroyed before them of generations? do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound?
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިން ކިތައްކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކު ކުރެއްވިންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެއުރެންކުރެ އެކަކުވެސް، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ފެނިވަޑައިގަންނަވާތޯއެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންގެ އެއްވެސް އަޑެއްބަޑެއް، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް އިވިވަޑައިގަންނަވާތޯއެވެ؟

a party of the followers of the book desire that they should lead you astray, and they lead not astray but themselves, and they do not perceive.
ފޮތުގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރައްދައިލެވޭނެ ނަމައޭ ހިތައި، އެކަމަށް އެދުނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތައް މެނުވީ، އެއުރެންނަކަށް މަގުފުރައްދައެއް ނުލެވެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (އެކަމެއް) ނޭނގެއެވެ.

a party of the people of the scripture long to make you go astray; and they make none to go astray except themselves, but they perceive not.
ފޮތުގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރައްދައިލެވޭނެ ނަމައޭ ހިތައި، އެކަމަށް އެދުނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތައް މެނުވީ، އެއުރެންނަކަށް މަގުފުރައްދައެއް ނުލެވެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (އެކަމެއް) ނޭނގެއެވެ.

and call not those who are slain in the way of allah "dead." nay, they are living, only ye perceive not.
އަދި اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި (جهاد ކުރަނިކޮށް) شهيد ވާ މީހުންނާމެދު (އެއީ) މަރުވެފައިވާ ބަޔެކޭ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުބުނާށެވެ! އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންނީ، ދިރިތިބި ބަޔެކެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު (އެކަން) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނޭނގެނީއެވެ.

"did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?"
އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންމެން ފުރައްސާރަކޮށް އުޅުނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއުރެން ފިޔަވައި ލޯތައް އެހެންފަރާތަކަށް ލެނބުނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

a faction of the people of the scripture wish they could mislead you. but they do not mislead except themselves, and they perceive [it] not.
ފޮތުގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަޔަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަގުފުރައްދައިލެވޭނެ ނަމައޭ ހިތައި، އެކަމަށް އެދުނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތައް މެނުވީ، އެއުރެންނަކަށް މަގުފުރައްދައެއް ނުލެވެތެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަކަށް (އެކަމެއް) ނޭނގެއެވެ.
