indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting islamic monotheism) shall achieve success,
ދެން އެމީހަކު އެތާނގައި މަރެއްވެސް ނުވާނެއެވެ. އަދި (އަރާމުހުރި ދިރުމަކުން) ނުވެސް ދިރޭނޭމެއެވެ.

except him who brings to allah a clean heart [clean from shirk (polytheism) and nifaq (hypocrisy)].
ސަލާމަތްވެގެންވާ ހިތަކާއިގެން اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް އައިމީހަކަށް މެނުވީއެވެ.

and when luqman said to his son while he admonished him: o my son! do not associate aught with allah; most surely polytheism is a grievous iniquity--
އަދި لقمان ގެފާނު އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުންނަށް نصيحة ދެއްވަމުން ވިދާޅުވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! اللَّه އަށް ތިބާ شريك ނުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، شريك ކުރުމަކީ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ އަނިޔާއެކެވެ.

if you invoke them they will not hear your invocation, and even if they heard they cannot respond to you, and on the day of resurrection they will forswear your polytheism, and none can inform you like the one who is all-aware.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ގޮވިޔަސް، އެފަރާތްތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގޮވާ ގޮވުމެއް ނީވޭނެތެވެ. އަދި އެގޮވުން އެފަރާތްތަކަށް އިވުނުކަމަށްވިޔަސް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް އެފަރާތްތަކެއް އިޖާބައެއް ނުދޭނެތެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شريك ކުޅަކަމާމެދު قيامة ދުވަހުން އެފަރާތްތައް إنكار ކުރާނެތެވެ. خبر ތައް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަލާނގެ ފަދައިން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް خبر ދޭނެ ހަމަ އެކަކުވެސް ނެތެވެ.

"o my son! aqim-is-salat (perform as-salat), enjoin (people) for al-ma'ruf (islamic monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from al-munkar (i.e. disbelief in the oneness of allah, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you.
އޭ ދަރިފުޅާއެވެ! ތިބާ ނަމާދު قائم ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް أمر ކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ނުބައިކަންތައް ނަހީކުރާށެވެ! ތިބާޔަށްޖެހޭ مصيبة އަށް ކެތްކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންވަނީ، عزم ކަނޑައަޅަންޖެހޭ ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ.
