marvel ye then at this statement,
اللَّه މެނުވީ އެދުވަސް ހާމަކުރާނޭ އެއްވެސްފަރާތެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

does this statement seem strange to them
اللَّه މެނުވީ އެދުވަސް ހާމަކުރާނޭ އެއްވެސްފަރާތެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

is it this statement that ye scorn,
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދޮގުކޮށް ފަރުވާކުޑަކުރަނީ، މިވާހަކައާމެދުގައި (އެބަހީ: މި قرآن އާ މެދުގައި) ހެއްޔެވެ؟

then at this statement do you wonder?
اللَّه މެނުވީ އެދުވަސް ހާމަކުރާނޭ އެއްވެސްފަރާތެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

surely you have made a monstrous statement.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަ ގެނައީ، ވަރަށްވެސް ނުބައިވެގެންވާ ބަހެކެވެ.

then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދޮގުކޮށް ފަރުވާކުޑަކުރަނީ، މިވާހަކައާމެދުގައި (އެބަހީ: މި قرآن އާ މެދުގައި) ހެއްޔެވެ؟

in what statement, after this, will they believe?
ފަހެ، އެ قرآن އަށްފަހު، އެއުރެން إيمان ވަނީ، ކޮން ވާހަކައަކަށް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

lo! there is a plain statement for folk who are devout.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅުކަންކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ފުދޭވަރުގެ އެންގުމެއް، މީގައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ތެދުބުނާބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެފަދަ قرآن އަކާއިގެން އައިސްބަލާށެވެ!

the statement of our lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it,
ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންގެ މައްޗަށް، ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ عذاب ގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވެއްޖެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންނީ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ ދެކޭނޭ ބަޔެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear allah!
މިއީ، މީސްތަކުންނަށް އޮތް ސާފުސީދާ ބަޔާނެކެވެ. އަދި، މަގު ދެއްކެވުމެކެވެ. އަދި، تقوى ވެރިންނަށްއޮތް وعظ އެކެވެ.

as for his statement: “my lord, these are a people who do not believe.”
އަދި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވި ވިދާޅުވުން، އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ. އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިބައިމީހުންނީ إيمان ނުވާނެ ބަޔެކެވެ.

he gathereth you all unto a day of resurrection whereof there is no doubt. who is more true in statement than allah?
اللَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި (حق ވެގެން އަޅުކަމެއްވެވޭ) إله އަކުނުވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. قيامة ދުވަހުން، އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއްކުރައްވާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެކަމާމެދަކު شك އެއް ނެތެވެ. ބަސްބުނުމުގައި اللَّه އަށްވުރެ ތެދުވެރިކަންބޮޑީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟

god has heard the statement of she who argued with you concerning her husband, as she complained to god. god heard your conversation.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަނބުލޭގެ ފިރިމީހާއާމެދު ކަލޭގެފާނާ ޖަދަލުކޮށް، އަދި اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށް شكوى ދަންނަވާ ކަނބުލޭގެ ބަސް، اللَّه އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންފިއެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަ ދެފަރާތުގެ ވާހަކަތައް اللَّه އައްސަވާވޮޑިގަންނަވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ބައްލަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

such are they against whom the statement is realized concerning the nations of humans and jinn alike that passed away before them; they were the losers.
ޖިންނީންނާއި، އިންސީންގެ ތެރެއިން، އެއުރެންގެކުރިން އިސްވެދިޔަ أمّة ތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި ކޯފާގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވި މީހުންނީ، އެއުރެންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ގެއްލެނިވެގެންވާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.

to him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. you have no authority for this [statement].
اللَّه ދަރިކަލަކު ހިއްޕެވިކަމަށް އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ ހުސްطاهر ވަންތަކަމާއެވެ! އެކަލާނގެއީ، ފުދިވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އުޑުތަކުގައިވާހާ ތަކެއްޗާއި ބިމުގައިވާހާ ތަކެތި ملك ވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިޔަބުނާ ބަހުގެ މައްޗަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތުގައި އެއްވެސް دليل އެއް ނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް، އެނގިގެންނުވާ އެއްޗެއް اللَّه އާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟

yet it may be, if they believe not in this statement, that thou (muhammad) wilt torment thy soul with grief over their footsteps.
އެއުރެން މި قرآن އަށް إيمان ނުވިނަމަ، އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް މޫނުއަނބުރާލައި ދިޔަކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ހިތާމައިން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ نفس ހަލާކުކޮށްލައްވަނީތޯއެވެ؟ (އެބަހީ: އެހެން ނުހައްދަވާށެވެ!)

but they rejected his statement as a lie and hamstrung the she-camel. for that crime their lord rumbled down upon them, utterly razing them to the ground.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ބަސްފުޅު ދޮގުކުޅައޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެން އެ ޖަމަލު މަރައިލޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ފާފައިގެ ސަބަބުން އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް عذاب ފޮނުއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އެންމެން، އެ عذاب ގައި ހަމަހަމަ ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

we have assigned companions to them, who make what is before them and behind them seem fair to them. the statement has been realized against them in nations of people and jinn alike that passed away before them they were indeed the losers.
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް އެކުވެރިންތަކެއް ލެއްވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ އެކުވެރިން އެއުރެންނަށް، އެއުރެންގެ ކުރިމަތީގައިވާ ކަންތަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތުގައިވާ ކަންތައް ޒީނަތްތެރިކޮށްދިނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެކުރިން އިސްވެ ގޮސްފައިވާ (ފުރެދުނު) ޖިންނީންނާއި، އިންސީންގެ أمّة ތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް عذاب ގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވެއްޖެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވީ ގެއްލެނިވިގެންވާ މީހުން ކަމުގައެވެ.

he will surely assemble you for [account on] the day of resurrection, about which there is no doubt. and who is more truthful than allah in statement.
اللَّه އީ، އެކަލާނގެ ފިޔަވައި (حق ވެގެން އަޅުކަމެއްވެވޭ) إله އަކުނުވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. قيامة ދުވަހުން، އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއްކުރައްވާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެކަމާމެދަކު شك އެއް ނެތެވެ. ބަސްބުނުމުގައި اللَّه އަށްވުރެ ތެދުވެރިކަންބޮޑީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟
