and by the night when it withdraws,
އަދި ރޭގަނޑު ފަސްދީދާހިނދު، އެ ރޭގަނޑު ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

never so, for when life withdraws into the clavicula,
ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. ވައިނޮޅިކަށިގަނޑާ ހަމަޔަށް ފުރާނަ ފޯރައްޖެހިނދެވެ.

when we favor a human, he swerves away and withdraws aside, but when evil befalls him he is full of unending prayer.
އަދި އިންސާނާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نعمة ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އަނެއްފަރާތަށް އެނބުރި ބޮޑާވެގަނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް، ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، دعاء ކުރުން ގިނަމީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

and when we show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away, but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.
އަދި އިންސާނާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نعمة ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އަނެއްފަރާތަށް އެނބުރި ބޮޑާވެގަނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް، ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، دعاء ކުރުން ގިނަމީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

and when we bless man, he turns away and withdraws aside; but when evil visits him, he is full of endless prayers.
އަދި އިންސާނާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نعمة ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އަނެއްފަރާތަށް އެނބުރި ބޮޑާވެގަނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް، ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، دعاء ކުރުން ގިނަމީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

އަދި އިންސާނާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نعمة ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އަނެއްފަރާތަށް އެނބުރި ބޮޑާވެގަނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް، ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، دعاء ކުރުން ގިނަމީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

when we provide comfort for the human being, he withdraws and distances himself; but when adversity befalls him, he starts lengthy prayers.
އަދި އިންސާނާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ نعمة ދެއްވައިފިނަމަ، އަނެއްފަރާތަށް އެނބުރި ބޮޑާވެގަނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް، ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، دعاء ކުރުން ގިނަމީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

and recite to them the narrative of him to whom we give our communications, but he withdraws himself from them, so the shaitan overtakes him, so he is of those who go astray.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް އެމީހާއަށް ލިބިދެއްވުމުން، އެއިން ވަކިވެގަތް މީހާގެ خبر ކަލޭގެފާނު އެއުރެންނަށް ކިޔައިދެއްވާށެވެ! ދެން شيطان އާ އޭނާގެ ފަހަތުން ދިޔައެވެ. ފަހެ، މަގުފުރެދިގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވިއެވެ.

if anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (allah) most gracious, we appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him.
رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުރުމަށް ކަނުވެގަންނަ މީހާއަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ شيطان އެއް ފާކުރައްވާހުށީމެވެ. ފަހެ، شيطان އާ އޭނާޔާ ވަކިނުވެ، އެކުގައި އުޅޭނެތެވެ.

"from the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers allah),
ފިލައިހުރެ ވަސްވާސްދޭ شيطان އާގެ ނުބައިކަމުންނެވެ. (އެބަހީ: شيطان އާގެ ނުބައިކަމުން އެކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގަންނަަމެވެ.)
