certainly not! there will be no place of refuge.

has not there come to you the story of the hosts,
ko lãbãrin rundanõni yã zo maka.

has not there come to you the news of the overwhelming calamity?
lalle ne labãrin (¡iyãma) mai rufe mutãne da tsoronta yã zo maka?

we know well what they say, and you are not there to compel them.
mũ ne mafi sani game da abin da suke faɗi, kuma bã zã ka zama mai tĩlasta su ba.

has not there come to them a clear evidence of what is in the previous books?
shin, kuwa hujjar abin da ke a cikin littattafan farko, ba ta jẽ musu ba?

but we found not there any just (muslim) persons except in one house:
sai dai ba mu sãmu ba, a cikinta, fãce gida guda na musulmi.

or, whereforeis not there cast down unto him a treasure or he has a garden whereof he may eat!
"kõ kuwa a jẽfo wata taska zuwa gare shi, kõ kuwa wata gõna ta kasance a gare shi, yanã ci daga gare ta?"

you are not there to force them: so remind, with this quran, those who fear my warning.
sabõda haka ka tunatar game da alƙur'ani, ga wanda ke tsõron ƙyacewata.

they will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of peace: and they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening.
bã su jin yasassar magana a cikinta, fãce sallama. kuma sunã da abinci, a cikinta, sãfe da maraice.

"did not there come to you messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you my verses and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?"
shin, manzanni daga gare ku ba su jẽ muku ba sunã lãbarta ãyõyina a kanku, kuma sunã yi muku gargaɗin haɗuwa da wannan yini nãku?

but we found not there any household of the muslims except one [i.e. lout (lot) and his two daughters].
sai dai ba mu sãmu ba, a cikinta, fãce gida guda na musulmi.

but why should not there a group from each of their sections go forth to become learned in religion, and to warn their people when they return to them, so that they may beware?
sabõda haka, don me ne wata jama'a daga kowane ɓangare daga gare su ba ta fita (zuwa nẽman ilimi ba) dõmin su nẽmi ilimi ga fahimtar addĩni kuma dõmin su yi gargaɗi ga mutãnensu idan sun kõma zuwa gare su, tsammãninsu, sunã yin sauna?

and they ask thee to hasten on the torment. and had not there been a term appointed, the torment would surely have come unto them. and surely it shall come upon them of a sudden while they perceive not.
kuma suna nẽman ka da gaggauta azãba, to, bã dõmin ajali ƙayyadadde ba, dã azãba ta jẽ musu kuma lalle dã tanã iske su bisa ia abke, alhãli kuwa sũ ba su sani ba.

so why were not there some people, from the generations before you, who had some goodness remaining in them in order to prevent (others) from causing turmoil in the earth?
to, don me mãsu hankali ba su kasance daga mutãnen ƙarnõnin da suke a gabãninku ba, sunã hani daga ɓarna a cikin ƙasa? fãce kaɗan daga wanda muka kuɓutar daga gare su (sun yi hanin).

and those who disbelieve shall be driven to hell in companies; until, when they come to it, its doors shall be opened, and the keepers of it shall say to them: did not there come to you apostles from among you reciting to you the communications of your lord and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?
kuma aka kõra waɗanda suka kãfirta zuwa jahannama, jama'a-jama'a har a lõkacin da suka je mata, sai aka buɗe ƙõfõfinta, kuma matsaranta suka ce musu, "ashe, waɗansu manzanni, daga cikinku ba su je muku ba, sunã karanta ãyõyin ubangijinku a kanku, kuma sunã yi muku gargaɗin gamuwa da yininku wannan?"
