तब शमूएल ने शाऊल से कहा, ठहर जा! और जो बात यहोवा ने आज रात को मुझ से कही है वह मैं तुझ को बताता हूं। उस ने कहा, कह दे।

फिर पलिश्ती ने दाऊद से कहा, मेरे पास आ, मैं तेरा मांस आकाश के पक्षियों और बनपशुओं को दे दूंगा।
