when the unbelievers see you they make you an object of fun, saying: "is he the one who mentions your gods?" they say so, and yet they reject with disdain the very mention of the most compassionate lord.

they wish you to become disbelievers as they are, so that you should become like them. therefore hold them not as friends until they go out of their homes in the way of god. if they do not, seize them wherever they are and do away with them. do not make them your friends or allies,

(தப்பியோட முயல்வோரைக்) கொல்லுங்கள் - அவர்களிலிருந்து எவரையும் நண்பர்களாகவோ, உதவியாளர்களாகவோ எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்.

they ask you about fighting in the sacred month. say, "to fight [in a sacred month] is a grave matter; but barring people from the path of god, to deny him, and expelling people from the sacred mosque are far graver in his sight; and persecution is worse than killing." they will not stop fighting you until they make you renounce your faith, if they can. whoever of you turns back from his faith and dies as a denier of the truth will have his deeds come to nothing in this world and the hereafter, and he will be an inhabitant of the fire, to abide therein forever.
(நபியே!) புனிதமான (விளக்கப்பட்ட) மாதங்களில் போர் புரிவது பற்றி அவர்கள் உம்மிடம் கேட்கிறார்கள்;. நீர் கூறும்; "அக்காலத்தில் போர் செய்வது பெருங் குற்றமாகும்; ஆனால், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையை விட்டுத் தடுப்பதும், அவனை நிராகரிப்பதும், மஸ்ஜிதுல் ஹராமுக்குள் (வரவிடாது) தடுப்பதும், அங்குள்ளவர்களை அதிலிருந்து வெளியேற்றுவதும் (-ஆகியவையெல்லாம்) அதைவிடப் பெருங் குற்றங்களாகும்;. ஃபித்னா (குழப்பம்) செய்வது, கொலையைவிடக் கொடியது. அவர்களுக்கு இயன்றால் உங்கள் மார்க்கத்திலிருந்து உங்களைத் திருப்பிவிடும் வரை உங்களுடன் போர் செய்வதை நிறுத்த மாட்டார்கள்;. உங்களில் எவரேனும் ஒருவர் தம்முடைய மார்க்கத்திலிருந்து திரும்பி, காஃபிராக (நிராகரிப்பவராக) இறந்துவிட்டால் அவர்களின் நற்கருமங்கள் இவ்வுலகத்திலும், மறு உலகத்திலும் (பலன் தராமல்) அழிந்துவிடும்;. இன்னும் அவர்கள் நரகவாசிகளாக அந்நெருப்பில் என்றென்றும் தங்கிவிடுவார்கள்."
