let not thine eyes be blinded ,my son
உன் கண்கள் குருடாகாது, என் மகனே

so when the eyes will be blinded by light.
ஆகவே, பார்வையும் மழுங்கி-

let’s not say love
காதலை சொல்ல வேண்டும்

so turn away from them: not thine is the blame.
ஆகவே (நபியே!) நீர் அவர்களைப் புறக்கணித்து (விலகி) விடும்; (அப்படி நீர் விலகிவிடுவீராயின் அதற்காக) நீர் பழிக்கப்படமாட்டீர்.

eyes be lowered in submission.
அவர்கள் பார்வைகள் (அச்சத்தால்) கீழ் நோக்கியிருக்கும்.

and let not thine hand be chained to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to the utmost stretching, lest thou sit down reproached, impoverished.
(உலோபியைப் போல் எதுவும் வழங்காது) உம் கையை உம் கழுத்தில் கட்டப் பட்டதாக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்; அன்றியும், (அனைத்தையும் செலவழித்து உம் கையை) ஒரே விரிப்பாக விரித்து விடாதீர்; அதனால் நீர் நிந்திக்கப்பட்டவராகவும், (கையில் எதுவுமில்லாது) துக்கப்பட்டவராகவும் அமைந்து விடுவீர்.

and on that day the news will be blinded for them, and they will not ask each other.
ஆனால் அந்நாளில் அவர்களுக்கு எல்லா விஷயங்களும் மூடலாகி போகும், ஆகவே, அவர்கள் ஒருவரையெருவர் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

let not satan misdirect you. he is your open enemy.
அன்றியும் ஷைத்தான் உங்களை (நேர்வழியை விடடும்) தடுத்து விடாதிருக்கட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அவன் உங்களுக்குப் பகிரங்கமான விரோதியாகவே இருக்கிறான்.

and let not satan divert you. he is an open enemy to you.
அன்றியும் ஷைத்தான் உங்களை (நேர்வழியை விடடும்) தடுத்து விடாதிருக்கட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அவன் உங்களுக்குப் பகிரங்கமான விரோதியாகவே இருக்கிறான்.

and let not thy hand be chained to thy neck nor open it with a complete opening, lest thou sit down rebuked, denuded.
(உலோபியைப் போல் எதுவும் வழங்காது) உம் கையை உம் கழுத்தில் கட்டப் பட்டதாக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்; அன்றியும், (அனைத்தையும் செலவழித்து உம் கையை) ஒரே விரிப்பாக விரித்து விடாதீர்; அதனால் நீர் நிந்திக்கப்பட்டவராகவும், (கையில் எதுவுமில்லாது) துக்கப்பட்டவராகவும் அமைந்து விடுவீர்.

let not the strutting about of the unbelievers through the land deceive thee:
காஃபிர்கள் நகரங்களில் உல்லாசமாகத் திரிந்து கொண்டிருப்பது (நபியே!) உம்மை மயக்கி விடவேண்டாம்.

and let not the shaitan prevent you; surely he is your j open enemy.
அன்றியும் ஷைத்தான் உங்களை (நேர்வழியை விடடும்) தடுத்து விடாதிருக்கட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அவன் உங்களுக்குப் பகிரங்கமான விரோதியாகவே இருக்கிறான்.

and let not satan turn you aside. lo! he is an open enemy for you.
அன்றியும் ஷைத்தான் உங்களை (நேர்வழியை விடடும்) தடுத்து விடாதிருக்கட்டும் - நிச்சயமாக அவன் உங்களுக்குப் பகிரங்கமான விரோதியாகவே இருக்கிறான்.

let not their words grieve you. we have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal.
(நபியே!) அவர்களுடைய பேச்சு உம்மை விசனப்படுத்த வேண்டியதில்லை. அவர்கள் (தங்கள் மனத்தில்) மறைப்பபதையும் அவர்கள் பகிரங்கப்படுத்துவதையும் நிச்சயமாக நாம் நன்கறிவோம்.

and let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape.
நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் தாங்கள் (தண்டனையிலிருந்து) தப்பித்துக் கொண்டதாக எண்ணவேண்டாம்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (இறையச்சமுடையோரைத்) தோற்கடிக்கவே முடியாது.

be patient. the promise of god is certainly true. let not the faithless make you despair of the promise of god.
ஆயினும், (நபியே!) நீர் பொறுமையுடன் இருப்பீராக நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானதாகும்; ஆகவே, உறுதியான நம்பிக்கை இல்லாத இவர்கள் உம்மைக் கலக்கமடையச் செய்ய வேண்டாம்.

and endure thy self in the company of those who call upon their lord in the morning and evening seeking his and let not thine eyes countenance rove from them seeking the adornment of the life of this world, and obey thou not him whose heart we have made to neglect our remembrance, and who followeth his lust, and whose affair is exceeding the bound.
(நபியே!) எவர் தம் இறைவனுடைய திருப்பொருத்த்தை நாடியவர்களாக காலையிலும், மாலையிலும் அவனைப் பிரார்த்தனை செய்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுடன் நீரும் பொறுமையை மேற் கொண்டிருப்பீராக! இன்னும் உலக வாழ்க்கையின் அலங்காரத்தை நாடி அ(த்தகைய)வர்களை விட்டும் உம் இரு கண்களையும் திருப்பி விடாதீர்; இன்னும், எவனுடைய இதயத்தை நம்மை நினைவு கூர்வதிலிருந்து நாம் திருப்பி விட்டோமோ அவனை நீர் வழிபடாதீர்; ஏனெனில் அவன்தன் இச்சையைப் பின் பற்றியதனால் அவனுடைய காரியம் வரம்பு மீறியமாகி விட்டது.

o men. the promise of god is true. let not the life of this world deceive you, nor let the deceiver deceive you about god.
மனிதர்களே! நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் வாக்குறுதி உண்மையானதாகும்; ஆகவே, இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கை உங்களை ஒரு போதும் ஏமாற்றிவிட வேண்டாம்; இன்னும் (ஷைத்தானாகிய) ஏமாற்றுபவன் உங்களை அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டும் ஏமாற்றி விட வேண்டாம்.

"let not a single indigent person break in upon you into the (garden) this day."
"எந்த ஏழை எளியவரும் இன்று உங்களிடம் அ(த் தோட்டத்)தில் நிச்சயமாக பிரவேசிக்கக் கூடாது" (என்று).

"therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!"..
"ஆகவே, அதனை நம்பாது, தன் (மன) இச்சையைப் பின்பற்றுபவன் திடனாக அதைவிட்டும் உம்மைத் திருப்பிவிட வேண்டாம். அவ்வாறாயின், நீர் அழிந்துபோவீர்.
