எவர் நிராகரித்து, நம் திருவசனங்களையும் மறுக்கிறார்களோ, அவர்கள் நரகவாசிகள் ஆவார்கள்.

and we set up the heaven as a roof well-protected; yet still from our signs they are turning away.
இன்னும் வானத்தை நாம் பாதுகாப்பான விதானமாக அமைத்தோம் -எனினும் அவர்கள் அவற்றிலுள்ள அத்தாட்சிகளைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறார்கள்.

and they swear by allah that they are surely of you, whereas they are not of you; but they are a people who dread.
நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்களும் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்களே என்று அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது சத்தியம் செய்து சொல்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் அல்லர்; என்றாலும் அவர்கள் பயந்த கூட்டத்தினர்தான்.

and they swear by allah that they are from among you while they are not from among you; but they are a people who are afraid.
நிச்சயமாகத் தாங்களும் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்களே என்று அல்லாஹ்வின்மீது சத்தியம் செய்து சொல்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் உங்களைச் சார்ந்தவர்கள் அல்லர்; என்றாலும் அவர்கள் பயந்த கூட்டத்தினர்தான்.

but they are not able to help them: rather they will be brought before god as their allied host.
ஆனால் அவை அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்யும் சக்தி பெறவில்லை -ஆயினும் அவற்றையே இவர்களுக்கு (எதிரான) படையாகக் கொண்டுவரப்படும்.

deaf, dumb and blind; and they are not to return.
(அவர்கள்) செவிடர்களாக, ஊமையர்களாக, குருடர்களாக இருக்கின்றனர். எனவே அவர்கள் (நேரான வழியின் பக்கம்) மீள மாட்டார்கள்.

you will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith.
(நபியே!) அவர்கள் முஃமின்களாகாமல் இருப்பதற்காக (துக்கத்தால்) உம்மை நீரே அழித்துக்கொள்வீர் போலும்!

god has sealed their hearts, ears and eyes and they are not aware of it.
அத்தகையோருடைய இதயங்கள், செவிப்புலன், பார்வைகள் (ஆகியவற்றின்) மீது அல்லாஹ் முத்திரையிட்டு விட்டான். இவர்கள் தான் (தம் இறுதி பற்றி) பராமுக அலட்சியமாகயிருப்பவர்கள்.

behold! they are themselves the agents of corruption, but they are not aware.
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் தாம் குழப்பம் உண்டாக்குபவர்கள் அன்றோ, ஆனால் அவர்கள் (இதை) உணர்கிறார்களில்லை.

except from their wives and what their right hands own, for these they are not blameworthy.
தம் மனைவியரிடத்திலும், தங்கள் வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்களிடத்திலும் (உறவு கொள்வதைத்) தவிர, நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (இத்தகையோருடன் உறவு கொள்வது பற்றி) நிந்திக்கப்பட மாட்டார்கள்.
