o believers, raise not your voices above the prophet's voice, and be not loud in your speech to him, as you are loud one to another, lest your works fail while you are not aware.
முஃமினகளே! நீங்கள் நபியின் சப்தத்திற்கு மேலே, உங்கள் சப்தங்களை உயர்த்தாதீர்கள்; மேலும், உங்களுக்குள் ஒருவர் மற்றொருவருடன் இரைந்து பேசவதைப் போல், அவரிடம் நீங்கள் இரைந்து போசாதீர்கள், (இவற்றால்) நீங்கள் அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியாத நிலையில் உங்கள் அமல்கள் அழிந்து போகும்.

and they say unto their skins: why testify ye against us? they say: allah hath given us speech who giveth speech to all things, and who created you at the first, and unto whom ye are returned.
அவர்கள் தம் தோல்களை நோக்கி, "எங்களுக்கு எதிராக நீங்கள் ஏன் சாட்சி கூறுனீர்கள்?" என்று கேட்பார்கள் அதற்கு அவை "எல்லாப் பொருட்களையும் பேசும் படிச் செய்யும் அல்லாஹ்வே, எங்களைப் பேசும்படிச் செய்தான் அவன்தான் உங்களை முதல் தடவையும் படைத்தான் பின்னரும் நீங்கள் அவனிடமே கொண்டு வரப்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்" என்று கூறும்.

as such we have assigned for every prophet an enemy; the satans of humans and jinn, revealing varnished speech to each other, all as a delusion. but had your lord willed, they would not have done so. therefore leave them and what they invent,
இவ்வாறே ஒவ்வொரு நபிக்கும், மனிதரிலும் ஜின்களிலும் உள்ள ஷைத்தான்களை விரோதிகளாக நாம் ஆக்கியிருந்தோம்; அவர்களில் சிலர் மற்றவரை ஏமாற்றும் பொருட்டு, அலங்காரமான வார்த்தைகளை இரகசியமாகச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்; (நபியே!) உம்முடைய இறைவன் நாடியிருந்தால் இவ்வாறு அவர்கள் செய்திருக்க மாட்டார்கள் - எனவே அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் கூறும் பொய்க்கற்பனைகளையும் விட்டுவிடுவீராக.

'why did you bear witness against us' they will ask their skins, and they will reply: 'allah has given us speech, as he has given speech to everything. it was he who created you the first time, and to him you shall return.
