மேலும், அல்லாஹ்(வின் பெயர்) மட்டும் தனித்தவனாகக் கூறப்பட்டால் மறுமையை ஈமான் கொள்ளாதவர்களின் இருதயங்கள் சுருங்கி விடுகின்றன் மேலும் அவனை அன்றி மற்றவர்(களின் பெயர்)கள் கூறப்பட்டால், உடனே அவர்கள் பெரிதும் மகிழ்வடைகிறார்கள்.

but no, by your lord, they will not believe until they call you to arbitrate in their disputes, and then find within themselves no resentment regarding your decisions, and submit themselves completely.
உம் இறைவன் மேல் சத்தியமாக, அவர்கள் தங்களிடையே எழுந்த சச்சரவுகளில் உம்மை நீதிபதியாக, ஏற்றுப் பின்னர் நீர் தீர்ப்பு செய்தது பற்றி எத்தகைய அதிருப்தியையும் தம் மனங்களில் கொள்ளாது (அத்தீர்ப்பை) முற்றிலும் ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாத வரையில், அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் ஆகமாட்டார்கள்.

and [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "our lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. our lord, indeed you are kind and merciful."
