உன்னால் என்னை உணர முடியாது, ஆனால் நான் அங்கே இருக்கிறேன், எல்லாவற்றிலும் உன் கையைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு

fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. but it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. but allah knoweth, and ye know not.
போர் செய்தல் - அது உங்களுக்கு வெறுப்பாக இருப்பினும் - (உங்கள் நலன் கருதி) உங்கள் மீது விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நீங்கள் ஒரு பொருளை வெறுக்கலாம்; ஆனால் அது உங்களுக்கு நன்மை பயப்பதாக இருக்கும்;. ஒரு பொருளை நீங்கள் விரும்பலாம், ஆனால் அது உங்களுக்குத் தீமை பயப்பதாக இருக்கும். (இவற்றையெல்லாம்) அல்லாஹ் அறிவான், நீங்கள் அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.

fighting is ordained for you, even though you dislike it. but it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you, and it may be that you like something while it is bad for you. god knows, and you do not know.
போர் செய்தல் - அது உங்களுக்கு வெறுப்பாக இருப்பினும் - (உங்கள் நலன் கருதி) உங்கள் மீது விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. நீங்கள் ஒரு பொருளை வெறுக்கலாம்; ஆனால் அது உங்களுக்கு நன்மை பயப்பதாக இருக்கும்;. ஒரு பொருளை நீங்கள் விரும்பலாம், ஆனால் அது உங்களுக்குத் தீமை பயப்பதாக இருக்கும். (இவற்றையெல்லாம்) அல்லாஹ் அறிவான், நீங்கள் அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.

and their saying: surely we have killed the messiah, isa son of marium, the apostle of allah; and they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them so (like isa) and most surely those who differ therein are only in a doubt about it; they have no knowledge respecting it, but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him not for sure.
இன்னும், "நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதராகிய - மர்யமின் குமாரராகிய-ஈஸா மஸீஹை கொன்றுவிட்டோம்" என்று அவர்கள் கூறுவதாலும் (அவர்கள் சபிக்கப்பட்டனர்). அவர்கள் அவரைக் கொல்லவுமில்லை, அவரை அவர்கள் சிலுவையில் அறையவுமில்லை. ஆனால் அவர்களுக்கு (அவரைப் போன்ற) ஒருவன் ஒப்பாக்கப்பட்டான்;. மேலும் இ(வ் விஷயத்)தில் அபிப்ராய பேதம் கொண்டவர்கள், அதில் சந்தேகத்திலேயே இருக்கின்றார்கள் - வெறும் யூகத்தைப் பின்பற்றுவதேயன்றி அவர்களுக்கு இதில் எத்தகைய அறிவும் கிடையாது. நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள், அவரைக் கொல்லவே இல்லை.
