and we revealed to him this decree , that the roots of these shall be cut off in the morning .
ወደርሱም ያንን ትእዛዝ አወረድን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የእነዚህ ( ሕዝቦች ) መጨረሻ ያነጉ ሲኾኑ ( ሥራቸው ) መቆረጥ ነው ፡ ፡

plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up ( from the ground ) .
ሰዎቹን ልክ ከሥሮቻቸው የተጎለሰሱ የዘንባባ ግንዶች መስለው ( ከተደበቁበት ) ትነቅላቸዋለች ፡ ፡

so the roots of the people who were unjust were cut off ; and all praise is due to allah , the lord of the worlds .
የእነዚያም የበደሉት ሕዝቦች መጨረሻ ተቆረጠ ፡ ፡ ምስጋናም ለዓለማት ጌታ ለአላህ ይገባው ፡ ፡

so we saved him and those with him , by mercy from us , and we cut off the roots of those who rejected our revelations and were not believers .
እርሱንና እነዚያንም አብረውት የነበሩትን ከእኛ በኾነው ችሮታ ( ከቅጣት ) አዳንናቸው ፡ ፡ የእነዚያንም በተአምራታችን ያስተባበሉትንና አማኞች ያልነበሩትን መሠረት ቆረጥን ፡ ፡

we saved him and those who adhered to him . by our mercy , and we cut off the roots of those who rejected our signs and did not believe .
እርሱንና እነዚያንም አብረውት የነበሩትን ከእኛ በኾነው ችሮታ ( ከቅጣት ) አዳንናቸው ፡ ፡ የእነዚያንም በተአምራታችን ያስተባበሉትንና አማኞች ያልነበሩትን መሠረት ቆረጥን ፡ ፡

it is a tree that comes forth in the root of hell ;
እርሷ በገሀነም አዘቅት ውስጥ የምትወጣ ዛፍ ናት ፡ ፡

and we informed him the decision of this command , that at morning the root of the disbelievers would be cut off .
ወደርሱም ያንን ትእዛዝ አወረድን ፡ ፡ ( እርሱም ) የእነዚህ ( ሕዝቦች ) መጨረሻ ያነጉ ሲኾኑ ( ሥራቸው ) መቆረጥ ነው ፡ ፡

and we saved him and those with him by a mercy from us , and we cut the root of those who denied our revelations and were not believers .
እርሱንና እነዚያንም አብረውት የነበሩትን ከእኛ በኾነው ችሮታ ( ከቅጣት ) አዳንናቸው ፡ ፡ የእነዚያንም በተአምራታችን ያስተባበሉትንና አማኞች ያልነበሩትን መሠረት ቆረጥን ፡ ፡

and when allah promised you one of the two parties that it shall be yours and you loved that the one not armed should he yours and allah desired to manifest the truth of what was true by his words and to cut off the root of the unbelievers .
አላህም ከሁለቱ ጭፍሮች አንደኛዋን እርሷ ለናንተ ናት ሲል ተስፋ በሰጣችሁ ጊዜ ፣ የሀይል ባለቤት ያልኾነችውም ( ነጋዴይቱ ) ለናንተ ልትኾን በወደዳችሁ ጊዜ ፣ አላህም በተስፋ ቃላቱ እውነትን ማረጋገጡን ሊገልጽና የከሓዲዎችንም መጨረሻ ሊቆርጥ በሻ ጊዜ ( የኾነውን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
አሁንስ ምሳር ደግሞ በዛፎች ሥር ተቀምጦአል፤ እንግዲህ መልካም ፍሬ የማያደርግ ዛፍ ሁሉ ይቆረጣል ወደ እሳትም ይጣላል።

and ( remember ) when allah promised you ( muslims ) one of the two parties ( of the enemy i.e. either the army or the caravan ) that it should be yours , you wished that the one not armed ( the caravan ) should be yours , but allah willed to justify the truth by his words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers ( i.e. in the battle of badr ) .
አላህም ከሁለቱ ጭፍሮች አንደኛዋን እርሷ ለናንተ ናት ሲል ተስፋ በሰጣችሁ ጊዜ ፣ የሀይል ባለቤት ያልኾነችውም ( ነጋዴይቱ ) ለናንተ ልትኾን በወደዳችሁ ጊዜ ፣ አላህም በተስፋ ቃላቱ እውነትን ማረጋገጡን ሊገልጽና የከሓዲዎችንም መጨረሻ ሊቆርጥ በሻ ጊዜ ( የኾነውን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡
