thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.
Դու նրանց ու նրանց չաստուածների հետ ուխտ չդնես:

and i will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Ուխտ եմ դնելու իմ եւ քո միջեւ. ես անչափ բազմացնելու եմ քո սերունդը»:

and i, behold, i establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;
«Ահա ես ուխտ եմ դնում ձեզ հետ, ձեզնից յետոյ եկող ձեր սերունդների հետ,

and abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.
Աբրահամն առաւ արջառներ ու ոչխարներ, տուեց Աբիմելէքին, եւ երկուսն իրար հետ հաշտութիւն կնքեցին:

as for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
«Այս է իմ՝ քեզ հետ դրած ուխտը. բազում ազգերի նախահայր պիտի դառնաս:

and god heard their groaning, and god remembered his covenant with abraham, with isaac, and with jacob.
յիշեց իր ուխտը, որ կապել էր Աբրահամի, Իսահակի ու Յակոբի հետ:

and god said unto abraham, thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
իսկ դու եւ քեզնից յետոյ գալիք քո զաւակները, սերնդից սերունդ, պէտք է պահէք իմ ուխտը:

now therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, i and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
Արի պայման դնենք ես ու դու: Դա թող վկայութիւն լինի իմ ու քո միջեւ»: Նա իր խօսքը շարունակելով՝ ասաց նրան. «Ահա մեր միջեւ որպէս վկայ Աստծուց բացի ոչ ոք չկայ»:

and god said unto noah, this is the token of the covenant, which i have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
Տէր Աստուած ասաց Նոյին. «Այս է նշանն այն ուխտի, որ հաստատեցի իմ ու ձեր միջեւ եւ երկրի վրայ գտնուող բոլոր էակների միջեւ»:

take heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:
Զգո՛յշ եղիր, ուխտ չկապես այն երկրի բնակիչների հետ, ուր մուտք ես գործելու: Չլինի թէ գայթակղուէք:

and god said, this is the token of the covenant which i make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:
Տէր Աստուած ասաց Նոյին. «Իմ ու ձեր միջեւ, ձեզ հետ եղող ամէն կենդանի էակի միջեւ գալիք բոլոր սերունդների համար իմ հաստատած ուխտի նշանն այս է.

and he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, all that the lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.
Նա, վերցնելով ուխտի գիրքը, կարդաց ի լուր ժողովրդի: Ժողովուրդն ասաց. «Այն ամէնը, ինչ ասել է Տէրը, կը կատարենք, կ՚ենթարկուենք»:

and i will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.
Այնժամ ես կը յիշեմ իմ ուխտը, որ հաստատել եմ իմ ու ձեր միջեւ եւ շնչաւոր բոլոր էակերի միջեւ: Այլեւս ջրհեղեղ չի լինի, որպէսզի բոլոր էակները չոչնչանան:

and i will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.
Ես ուխտ եմ դնում ձեզ հետ. այլեւս ոչ մի էակ չի մեռնի ջրհեղեղից, ողջ երկիրը ոչնչացնող ջրհեղեղ չի լինի այլեւս»:

and he was there with the lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. and he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Մովսէսը Տիրոջ հետ էր քառասուն օր ու քառասուն գիշեր: Նա հաց չկերաւ, ջուր չխմեց եւ տախտակների վրայ գրի առաւ ուխտի խօսքերը՝ տասը պատուիրանները:

and god said, sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name isaac: and i will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
Աստուած պատասխանեց Աբրահամին. «Այո՛. ահա քո կին Սառան քեզ համար որդի է բերելու, եւ իմ ուխտը, որպէս յաւիտենական ուխտ, հաստատելու եմ նրա հետ ու նրանից յետոյ գալիք սերունդների հետ:

and he said, behold, i make a covenant: before all thy people i will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the lord: for it is a terrible thing that i will do with thee.
Տէրն ասաց Մովսէսին. «Ահա ես քո ու ամբողջ ժողովրդի առաջ քեզ հետ ուխտ եմ դնում: Ես այնպիսի զարմանահրաշ գործեր պիտի անեմ, որ ամբողջ երկրի վրայ եւ բոլոր ազգերի մէջ չեն կատարուել: Ամբողջ ժողովուրդը, նրանց թւում նաեւ դու, ականատես պիտի լինէք Տիրոջ գործերին: Որովհետեւ ձեզ համար »ս զարմանահրաշ գործ»ր պիտի ան»մ:
