when they defied [the command pertaining to] what they were forbidden from, we said to them, ‘be you spurned apes.’
ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނަހީކުރެއްވި ކަންތަކާމެދު، އެއުރެން ބޮޑާވެގަތްހިނދު، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް وحى ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ ރާމާމަކުނުތަކެއް ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވާށެވެ!

for everyone there are degrees [of merit] pertaining to what he has done: he will recompense them fully for their works, and they will not be wronged.
އަދި ކޮންމެބަޔަކަށްމެ، އެބަޔަކު ކުޅަ عمل އަކާ އެއްގޮތަށް ދަރަޖަތަކެއް ހުށްޓެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންނަށް، އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތަކުގެ ޖަޒާ ފުރިހަމަޔަށް ދެއްވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް ބޭއިންސާފެއް ނުކުރައްވާހުށްޓެވެ.

do they have any associates (of allah) who have laid down for them a way pertaining to faith which allah did not sanction? but for the fact that a decree had already been made, the matter between them would have been decided once and for all.
ނުވަތަ اللَّه، إذن ދެއްވާފައިނުވާ دين އެއް، އެއުރެންނަށް، شرع ކޮށް ކަނޑައަޅައިދިން شريك ންތަކެއް އެއުރެންނަށް ވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ޖަޒާދެއްވުން ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ ދުވަހަށް ލަސްކުރެއްވުމުގެ كلمة ފުޅުނުވާނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެމެދުގައި ނިޔާ ކަނޑައެޅުއްވީސްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރިންނަށް ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.
