having thus harmed his own soul, he entered his garden saying, "i do not think this will ever perish,
kuma ya shiga gõnarsa, alhãli yanã mai zãlunci ga kansa, ya ce: "bã ni zaton wannan zã ta halaka har abada."

saying: "i am alone your lord, the highest of them all."
sai ya ce: "nĩ ne ubangijinku mafi ɗaudaka."

he turned away from them saying: 'i conveyed to you, my nation, the messages of my lord and advised you.
sai ya jũya daga barinsu, kuma ya ce: "yã mutãnena! haƙĩƙa, nã iyar muku da sãƙonnin ubangijina, kuma nã yi muku nasĩha!

then he supplicated to his lord, (saying): 'i am overcome, help me'

and ruin closed in on his crops, and so he began wringing his hands over what he had invested in it, as it lays fallen upon its trellises. and he was saying, “i wish i never associated anyone with my lord.”
kuma aka halaka dukan 'ya'yan itãcensa, sai ya wãyi gari yanã jũyar da tãfunansa biyu, sabõda abin da ya kashe a cikinta, alhãli kuwa ita tanã kwance a kan rassanta, kuma yanã cẽwa, "kaitõna, dã dai ban tãra wani da ubangijina ba!"

remember job when he called on his lord saying, "i have been afflicted with great distress: but you are the most merciful of the merciful."
kuma da ayyũba a sã'ad da ya yi kiran ubangijinsa, (ya ce:) "lalle nĩ, cũta ta shãfe ni, alhãli kuwa kai ne mafi rahamar mãsu rahama."

(he boasts and shows off) saying, "i have spent a great deal of money (for the cause of god)".
yana cẽwa "na halakarda dũkiya mai yawa,"

if you have any doubts as to their honesty, detain them and let them take an oath after the prayer, each one of them saying, "i swear by god that my testimony is true. i am not selling the truth for a paltry price even though the beneficiary would be one of my relatives.
kunã tsare su daga bãyan salla har su yi rantsuwa da allah; idan kun yi shakka: "bã mu sayen kuɗi da shi, kõ dã ya kasance ma'abucin zumunta kuma bã mu ɓõye shaidar allah.

(remember) when you sought help of your lord and he answered you (saying): "i will help you with a thousand of the angels each behind the other (following one another) in succession."
