और समूद को भी ग़रज़ किसी को बाक़ी न छोड़ा

samood gave the lie to the apostles
समूद ने पैग़म्बरों को झुठलाया

samood gave the lie in their inordinacy ,
समूद ने अपनी सरकशी से झुठलाया ,

samood and ad called the striking calamity a lie .
खड़ खड़ाने वाली को आद व समूद ने झुठलाया

and samood , who hewed out the rocks in the valley ,
और समूद के साथ जो वादी में पत्थर तराश कर घर बनाते थे

then as to samood , they were destroyed by an excessively severe punishment .
ग़रज़ समूद तो चिंघाड़ से हलाक कर दिए गए

and in samood : when it was said to them : enjoy yourselves for a while .
और समूद में भी है जब उससे कहा गया कि एक ख़ास वक्त तक ख़ूब चैन कर लो

and if they reject you , then already before you did the people of nuh and ad and samood reject .
यदि वे तुम्हें झुठलाते है तो उनसे पहले नूह की क़ौम , आद और समूद

as though they had never dwelt in them ; now surely perdition overtook madyan as had perished samood .
कि गोया उन बस्तियों में कभी बसे ही न थे सुन रखो कि जिस तरह समूद धुत्कारे गए उसी तरह अहले मदियन की भी धुत्कारी हुई

but if they turn aside , then say : i have warned you of a scourge like the scourge of ad and samood .
फिर अगर हम पर भी ये कुफ्फार मुँह फेरें तो कह दो कि मैं तुम को ऐसी बिजली गिरने डराता हूँ जैसी क़ौम आद व समूद की बिजली की कड़क

the like of what befell the people of nuh and ad and samood and those after them , and allah does not desire injustice for servants ;
जैसा कि नूह की क़ौम और आद समूद और उनके बाद वाले लोगों का हाल हुआ और ख़ुदा तो बन्दों पर ज़ुल्म करना चाहता ही नहीं

as though they had never dwelt in them ; now surely did samood disbelieve in their lord ; now surely , away with samood .
और ऐसे मर मिटे कि गोया उनमें कभी बसे ही न थे तो देखो क़ौमे समूद ने अपने परवरदिगार की नाफरमानी की और सुन रखो कि क़ौमे समूद धुत्कारी हुईहै

and as to samood , we showed them the right way , but they chose error above guidance , so there overtook them the scourge of an abasing chastisement for what they earned .
और रहे समूद तो हमने उनको सीधा रास्ता दिखाया , मगर उन लोगों ने हिदायत के मुक़ाबले में गुमराही को पसन्द किया तो उन की करतूतों की बदौलत ज़िल्लत के अज़ाब की बिजली ने उनको ले डाला

and certainly we sent to samood their brother salih , saying : serve allah ; and lo ! they became two sects quarrelling with each other .
और अब मैं सुलेमान के साथ सारे जहाँ के पालने वाले खुदा पर ईमान लाती हूँ और हम ही ने क़ौम समूद के पास उनके भाई सालेह को पैग़म्बर बनाकर भेजा कि तुम लोग ख़ुदा की इबादत करो तो वह सालेह के आते ही दो फरीक़ बनकर बाहम झगड़ने लगे

and ad and samood , and from their dwellings is apparent to you indeed ; and the shaitan made their deeds fair - seeming to them , so he kept them back from the path , though they were endowed with intelligence and skill ,
और आद और समूद को भी हमने विनष्ट किया । और उनके घरों और बस्तियों के अवशेषों से तुमपर स्पष्ट हो चुका है । शैतान ने उनके कर्मों को उनके लिए सुहाना बना दिया और उन्हें संमार्ग से रोक दिया । यद्यपि वे बड़े तीक्ष्ण स्पष्ट वाले थे
