あなたがた信仰する者よ，あなたがたが期間を定めて貸借する時は，それを記録にとどめなさい。あなたがたのことがらを公正な記録者に記録させる。記録者は，アッラーが教えられたように記録し，書くのを拒むことは出来ない。それでかれに記録させなさい。債務者にロ述させなさい。かれの主アッラーを畏れ，少しもそれを少なく言ってはならない。もし債務者が，精神的に欠けるか幼弱者であり，または自らロ述できない場合は，後見人に公正にロ述させなさい。あなたがたの仲間から，2名の証人をたてなさい。2名の男がいない場合は，証人としてあなたがたが認めた，1名の男と2名の女をたてる。もし女の1人が間違っても，他の女がかの女を正すことが出来よう。証人は（証言のために）呼ばれた時，拒むことは出来ない。事の大小に拘らず，期限を定めた（取り決めは）記録することを軽視してはならない。それは，アッラーの御目には更に正しく，また正確な証拠となり，疑いを避けるために最も妥当である。只しあなたがたの間で受け渡される，直接の取引の場合は別である。それは記録にとどめなくても，あなたがたに罪はない。だがあなたがたの取引にさいしては，証人を立てなさい。そして記録者にも，証人にも迷惑をかけてはならない。もし（迷惑がかかることを）すれば，本当にそれはあなたがたの罪である。だからアッラーを畏れなさい。アッラーは，あなたがたを教えられた方である。アジラーは凡てのことを熟知されておられる。
