จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด “ใช่แล้ว และพวกเจ้าจะเป็นผู้อับอายขายหน้าอีกด้วย”

that was that, but remember god will make the plots of the unbelievers contemptible.
นั่นแหละ และแท้จริงอัลลอฮฺนั้น คือผู้ทำให้อ่อนแอ ซึ่งอุบายของผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาทั้งหลาย”

am i better or this contemptible man who is scarcely able to express himself?
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

am i not better than this contemptible man who can hardly make his meaning clear:
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

or am i better than this man, who is contemptible and scarcely makes things clear?
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

nay! i am better than this fellow, who is contemptible, and who can hardly speak distinctly:
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

am i (not) better than him who is contemptible, and cannot even express himself clearly?

allah had already given you the victory at badr, when ye were contemptible. so observe your duty to allah in order that ye may be thankful.
และแน่นอน อัลลอฮ์ได้ทรงช่วยเหลือพวกเจ้าที่บะดัร มาแล้วทั้งๆ ที่พวกเข้าเป็นพวกด้อยกว่า ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าพึงยำเกรงอัลลอ์เถิด หวังว่าพวกเจ้าจักขอบคุณ

allah had helped you at badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear allah; thus may ye show your gratitude.
และแน่นอน อัลลอฮ์ได้ทรงช่วยเหลือพวกเจ้าที่บะดัร มาแล้วทั้งๆ ที่พวกเข้าเป็นพวกด้อยกว่า ดังนั้นพวกเจ้าพึงยำเกรงอัลลอ์เถิด หวังว่าพวกเจ้าจักขอบคุณ

"am i not better than this (moses), who is a contemptible wretch and can scarcely express himself clearly?
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

am i not better than this contemptible (man), who can scarcely make things clear (because of the impediment of his speech)?
ยิ่งกว่านั้นฉันยังดีกว่าคนนี้ ซึ่งเขาต่ำต้อย และแทบจะพูดจาไม่ชัดถ้อยชัดคำ

"begone," said (god), "contemptible and rejected! as for those who follow you, i shall fill up hell with all of you.
