เป็นไฉนพระองค์ทรงลืมพวกข้าพระองค์เสียเป็นนิตย์ เป็นไฉนได้ทรงทอดทิ้งพวกข้าพระองค์เสียนานดังนี

your lord would not surely destroy unjustly human habitations so long as the people are righteous.
และพระเจ้าของเจ้าจะไม่ทรงทำลายหมู่บ้านโดยอยุติธรรม โดยที่ประชากรของหมู่บ้านนั้นเป็นผู้ฟื้นฟูทำความดี

your lord would not destroy a community for its wrongdoing, so long as its people were still unaware.
นั่นก็เพราะว่า พระเจ้าของเจ้านั้นมิเคยเป็นผู้ทำลายเมืองทั้งหลายด้วยความอธรรม โดยที่ชาวเมืองเหล่านั้นไม่รู้อะไร

and hath made me blessed wheresoever i may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as i remain alive,
“และพระองค์ทรงให้ฉันได้รับความจำเริญ ไม่ว่าฉันจะอยู่ ณ ที่ใด และทรงสั่งเสียให้ฉันทำการละหมาดและจ่ายซะกาตตราบที่ฉันมีชีวิตอยู่”

and has made me blessed wherever i may be; and has enjoined on me prayer and charity, so long as i live.
“และพระองค์ทรงให้ฉันได้รับความจำเริญ ไม่ว่าฉันจะอยู่ ณ ที่ใด และทรงสั่งเสียให้ฉันทำการละหมาดและจ่ายซะกาตตราบที่ฉันมีชีวิตอยู่”

where they will dwell so long as heaven and earth endure, unless your lord will otherwise. verily your lord does as he wills.
พวกเขาจะพำนักอยู่ในนั้นตลอดกาล ตราบเท่าที่ชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลายและแผ่นดินยืนยง เว้นแต่ที่พระเจ้าของเจ้าทรงประสงค์ แท้จริงพระเจ้าของเจ้าเป็นผู้กระทำโดยเด็ดขาดตามที่พระองค์ทรงประสงค์

abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy lord willeth. lo! thy lord is doer of what he will.

abiding therein so long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your lord please; surely your lord is the mighty doer of what he intends.

abiders they shall be therein, so long as the heavens and the earth remain, save as thy lord may will. verily thy lord is the doer of whatsoever he intendeth.

and we appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance under our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in our signs.

and as for the happy, they shall be in paradise, therein dwelling forever, so long as the heavens and earth abide, save as thy lord will -- for a gift unbroken.
และสำหรับบรรดาผู้เป็นสุขก็จะอยู่ในสวนสวรรค์ พวกเขาจะพำนักอยู่ในนั้นตลอดกาลตราบเท่าที่ชั้นฟ้าทั้งหลายและแผ่นดินยืนยัง เว้นแต่ที่พระเจ้าของของเจ้า ทรงประสงค์ เป็นการประทานให้โดยปราศจากการตัดทอน

how can the idolaters have any treaty with allah and his messenger, except those with whom you have made treaties by the sacred mosque? so long as they are straight with you, so be straight with them. allah loves the righteous.
“จะเป็นไปได้อย่างไรแก่มุชริกีนที่จะมีสัญญาใด ๆ ณ ที่อัลลอฮ์ และร่อซูลของพระองค์ได้ นอกจากบรรดาผู้ที่พวกเจ้าได้ทำสัญญาไว้ที่ อัล-มัศยิดดิลฮะรอม เท่านั้น ดังนั้นตราบใดที่พวกเขาเที่ยงธรรมต่อพวกเจ้า ก็จงเที่ยงธรรมต่อพวกเขา แท้จริงอัลลอฮ์นั้นทรงชอบบรรดาผู้ทีความยำเกรง”

and among the followers of the book there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a heap of wealth, he shall pay it back to you; and among them there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a dinar he shall not pay it back to you except so long as you remain firm in demanding it; this is because they say: there is not upon us in the matter of the unlearned people any way (to reproach); and they tell a lie against allah while they know.
และจากหมู่ผู้ที่ได้รับคัมภีร์นั้น มีผู้ที่หากเจ้าฝากเขาไว้ซึ่งทรัพย์สมบัติอันมากมาย เขาก็จะคืนมันแก่เขจ้า และจากหมู่พวกเขานั้นมีผู้ที่หากเจ้าฝากเขาไว้สักเหรียญทองหนึ่ง เขาก็จะไม่คืนมันแก่เจ้า นอกจากเจ้าจะยืนเผ้าทวงเขาอยู่เท่านั้น นั่นก็เพราะว่าพวกเขากล่าวว่า ในหมู่ผู้ที่อ่านเขียนไม่เป็นนั้น ไม่มีทางใดที่เป็นโทษแก่เราได้ และพวกเขากล่าวความเท็จให้แก่อัลลอฮ์ทั้ง ๆ ที่พวกเขารู้กันดีอยู่
