Агар онро бар яке аз аҷамон (ғайри арабҳо) нозил карда будем

Агар онро бар яке аз аҷамон (ғайри арабҳо) нозил карда будем

had we revealed it to a man of obscure tongue
Агар онро бар яке аз аҷамон (ғайри арабҳо) нозил карда будем

then we take it to ourselves, taking little by little.
Сипас баргиркфтемаш, гирифтане андак-андак.

and how many a community revolted against the ordinance of its lord and his messengers, and we called it to a stern account and punished it with dire punishment,
Чӣ басо мардуми деҳае, ки аз фармони Парвардигорашон ва паёмбаронаш бар боззаданд. Он гоҳ Мо сахт аз онҳо ҳисоб гирифтем ва ба азобе сангин азобашон кардем.

every shout (they hear) they take it to be against them.
Ҳар овозеро ба зиёни худ мепиндоранд.

but if the disbelievers deny it, then we have entrusted it to a people who are not therein disbelievers.
Агар ин қавм ба он имон наёваранд, қавми дигареро бар он вакил кардаем, ки инкораш намекунанд.

and we send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then we cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely we are able to carry it away.
Ва аз осмон ба миқдори эҳтиёҷ об фиристодем ва онро дар замин ҷой додем ва Мо бар нобуд карда- наш тавоно ҳастем.

(he revealed it to his prophets, so that people may fear and get ready. the exact time is not revealed to the people.)
Мехоҳам замони онро пинҳон дорам, то ҳар кас дар муқобили коре, ки кардааст, ҷазо бубинад.

'take it, and do not fear' he said, 'we will restore it to its former state.
Гуфт: «Бигираш ва матарс. Бори дигар онро ба сурати нахустинаш бозмегардонем.

those are they to whom we gave the book, the judgment, the prophethood; so if these disbelieve in it, we have already entrusted it to a people who do not disbelieve in it.
Инҳо касоне ҳастанд, ки ба онҳо китобу фармон ва нубувват додаем. Агар ин қавм ба он имон наёваранд, қавми дигареро бар он вакил кардаем, ки инкораш намекунанд.

it is he who looses the winds, bearing good tidings before his mercy, till, when they are charged with heavy clouds, we drive it to a dead land and therewith send down water, and bring forth, therewith all the fruits.
Ва Ӯст, ки пешопеши раҳмати худ бодҳоро хушхабар мефирстад. Чун бодҳо абрҳои гаронборро бардоранд, Мо онро ба сарзаминҳои мурда равон созем ва аз он борон мефиристем ва ба борон ҳар гуна меваҳоеро мерӯёнем.

and thus we variously propound the revelation, and this is in order that they may say: thou hast studied, and that we may expound it to a people who know.
Оёти Худоро инчунин гуногун баён мекунем, то мабод, ки бигӯянд, ки аз касе дарс гирифтаӣ ва мо ин оётро барои аҳли дониш баён мекунем.

and it is he who sends forth winds as glad tidings in advance of his mercy, and when they have carried a heavy-laden cloud we drive it to a dead land, then we send down rain from it and bring forth therwith fruits of every kind.
Ва Ӯст, ки пешопеши раҳмати худ бодҳоро хушхабар мефирстад. Чун бодҳо абрҳои гаронборро бардоранд, Мо онро ба сарзаминҳои мурда равон созем ва аз он борон мефиристем ва ба борон ҳар гуна меваҳоеро мерӯёнем.

and give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it and enjoy it with right good cheer.
Маҳри занонро ба тиби (майли) хотир ба онҳо бидиҳед. Ва агар баъзе аз онро ба ризоят ба шумо бахшиданд, бигиред, ки ҳалолу покизаатон хоҳад буд.

and he it is who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding his mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), we lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind.
Ва Ӯст, ки пешопеши раҳмати худ бодҳоро хушхабар мефирстад. Чун бодҳо абрҳои гаронборро бардоранд, Мо онро ба сарзаминҳои мурда равон созем ва аз он борон мефиристем ва ба борон ҳар гуна меваҳоеро мерӯёнем.

i will turn those away from my signs who behave unjustly with arrogance in the land so that even though they see all the signs they will not believe in them; and if they see the path of rectitude, will not take it to be a way; and if they see the way of error take it to be the (right) path.
Он касонеро, ки ба ноҳақ дар замин саркашӣ мекунанд, ба зудӣ аз оёти хеш рӯйгардон созам, чунон ки ҳар оятеро, ки бубинанд, имон наёваранд ва агар тариқи ҳидоят бубинанд, ба он нараванд ва агар тариқи гумроҳӣ бубинанд, бо он бираванд.

"this is the benevolence of my lord," he said; "but when the promise of my lord comes to pass, he will reduce it to a mound of dust; and the promise of my lord is true."
Гуфт: «Ин раҳмате буд аз ҷониби Парвардигори ман ва чун ваъдаи Парвардигори ман даррасад, онро зеру забар кунад ва ваъдаи Парвардигори ман рост аст».

and give to the women (whom you marry) their mahr (obligatory bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a good heart, but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, take it, and enjoy it without fear of any harm (as allah has made it lawful).
Маҳри занонро ба тиби (майли) хотир ба онҳо бидиҳед. Ва агар баъзе аз онро ба ризоят ба шумо бахшиданд, бигиред, ки ҳалолу покизаатон хоҳад буд.
