a fog descends on the harbour and with ni captain around,the walkers have to take care of themselves anda the goblin.as the tidur has risen,the anchor chain is now too short and the goblin drifts out to the sea.to keep the yacht safe from the fog,sandbanks and shoals,they sail eastward and further out to sea.susan and titty feel seasick while john has to manage the mainstail.they get through a stormy night and susan finnaly gets over her seasickness ,and manages the helm.
