he knoweth that which goeth into the earth and that which cometh forth from it, and that descendeth from the heaven and that which ascendeth into it. he is the merciful, the forgiving.

mana eka wanaag iyo xumaan, reebna oo (bixi) arrinta fiican markaas waxaa soobixi in midkii col idin dhexyiil uu noqon sokeeye iyo saaxiib.
(o prophet), good and evil are not equal. repel (evil) with that which is good, and you will see that he, between whom and you there was enmity, shall become as if he were a bosom friend (of yours).

eebe waa kan diray dabaylaha oo markaas kicisa daruuro kuna fidiya samada siduu doono kana yeela goosimo aad aragtid roobka oo ka soobixi dhexdeeda, markaasuu eebe roobka siiyaa ciduu doono oo adoomadiisa ka mid ahna markaasay bishaaraystaan.
allah is he who sendeth the winds so that they raise a cloud and then spreadeth it along the heaven as he will and breaketh it into fragments, and thou beholdest the rain come forth from the intestines thereof. then when he maketh it fall upon such of his bondmen as he will, lo! they rejoice.
