and again, esaias saith, there shall be a root of jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the gentiles; in him shall the gentiles trust.

kuya kuthi ngaloo mini, ihlumelo likayese, elimele ukuba yibhanile yezizwe, iintlanga ziquqele kulo; nendafo yokuphumla kwalo ibe bubuqaqawuli.
and in that day there shall be a root of jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

yabonani, iyeza imihla, utsho uyehova, endiya kummisela udavide ihlumelo elililungisa, libe ngukumkani ongukumkani, enze yena ngengqiqo, enze okusesikweni nobulungisa ehlabathini.
behold, the days come, saith the lord, that i will raise unto david a righteous branch, and a king shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
