mdumiseni, mazulu awo amazulu, nani, manzi angaphezu kwezulu.
praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.

namangcwaba avuleka, zathi izidumbu ezininzi zabangcwele ababelele zavuka;
and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

bekani indlebe, mazulu, ndithethe; live ihlabathi amazwi omlomo wam;
give ear, o ye heavens, and i will speak; and hear, o earth, the words of my mouth.

mangaliswani, mazulu, yile nto, nibe namanwele, niqothole kunene; utsho uyehova.
be astonished, o ye heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be ye very desolate, saith the lord.

avuleka ke amehlo azo. waza uyesu waziyala kalukhuni, esithi, lumkani ingaziwa mntu le nto.
and their eyes were opened; and jesus straitly charged them, saying, see that no man know it.

wenzele imihlali, nina mazulu, nani bapostile bangcwele, nani baprofeti; ngokuba uthixo eniphindezelele kuwo.
rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for god hath avenged you on her.

ebhaptiziwe ke uyesu, wenyuka kwaoko emanzini; asuka amazulu avuleka kuye, wambona umoya kathixo esihla njengehobe, esiza phezu kwakhe.
and jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the spirit of god descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

yivani, mazulu; bekani indlebe, hlabathi, ngokuba kuthetha uyehova. uthi, ndikhulise abantwana ndabondla, besuka bakreqa kum.
hear, o heavens, and give ear, o earth: for the lord hath spoken, i have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

ke kaloku, ngomnyaka wamashumi omathathu, ngenyanga yesine, ngolwesihlanu usuku enyangeni leyo, ndakubon’ ukuba ndiphakathi kwabathinjiweyo ngasemlanjeni oyikebhare, avuleka amazulu, ndabona imibono kathixo.
now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as i was among the captives by the river of chebar, that the heavens were opened, and i saw visions of god.

memelelani, mazulu; gcoba, hlabathi; gqabhukani nimemelele, zintaba; ngokuba uyehova ubathuthuzele abantu bakhe, unemfesane kwabaziintsizana zakhe.
sing, o heavens; and be joyful, o earth; and break forth into singing, o mountains: for the lord hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

ngenxa yoko yibani nemihlali, nina mazulu, nani ninomnquba kuwo. yeha, abo bawumiyo umhlaba nolwandle! ngokuba uhlile weza kuni umtyholi, enomsindo omkhulu, esazi nje ukuba ixesha analo lincinane.
therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
