i wrote this letter to ask if the municipality can build a park or play ground in my area for the kids to play in because it is very dangerous for them to play on the street or road as cars are going past it would create a better environment for them to play in and it would be safer as they would lookout for each other it would be really nice if you build this park because they are a lot of advantages when considering to build this park

vygotsky's work situates development in a cultural historical context.  the theory proposes that learning and teaching can lead to development.  thus a teacher can support a learner to understand beyond his/her level of cognitive development.  this theory is particularly important in the south african context because we have so many different cultures and a history of unequal access to education and resources.
