der gesamtbauabschnitt umfasst eine länge von rd. 1,7 km. kernstück ist der rund 310 m lange tunnel in bergmännischer bauweise unter der denkmalgeschützten burganlage der sonnenburg. obwohl die geologischen rahmenbedingungen zunächst nicht für einen tsm-vortrieb sprachen, wurden die vortriebsarbeiten unter der sonnenburg aufgrund vorhergegangener probleme mit sprengerschütterungen mit einer schweren teilschnittmaschine (tsm) durchgeführt (bild 1).
