በመጠን ኑሩ ንቁም፥ ባላጋራችሁ ዲያብሎስ የሚውጠውን ፈልጎ እንደሚያገሣ አንበሳ ይዞራልና፤
be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

ኢብሊስ ( ዲያብሎስ ) ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ ከሰጋጆቹ ጋር ከመኾን እንቢ አለ ፡ ፡
but iblis ( did it not ) ; he refused to be with those who made obeisance .

በመንገድ ዳርም ያሉት የሚሰሙ ናቸው፤ ከዚህ በኋላም ዲያብሎስ ይመጣል አምነውም እንዳይድኑ ቃሉን ከልባቸው ይወስዳል።
those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

ኢየሱስም። እኔ እናንተን አሥራ ሁለታችሁን የመረጥኋችሁ አይደለምን? ከእናንተም አንዱ ዲያብሎስ ነው ብሎ መለሰላቸው።
jesus answered them, have not i chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

እንክርዳዱም የክፉው ልጆች ናቸው፥ የዘራውም ጠላት ዲያብሎስ ነው፤ መከሩም የዓለም መጨረሻ ነው፥ አጫጆችም መላእክት ናቸው።
the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

ልትቀበለው ያለህን መከራ አትፍራ። እነሆ፥ እንድትፈተኑ ዲያብሎስ ከእናንተ አንዳንዶቻችሁን በወኅኒ ሊያገባችሁ አለው፥ አሥር ቀንም መከራን ትቀበላላችሁ። እስከሞት ድረስ የታመንህ ሁን የሕይወትንም አክሊል እሰጥሃለሁ።
fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and i will give thee a crown of life.

ለመላእክትም « ለአደም ስገዱ » ባልን ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ሁሉም ወዲያውኑ ሰገዱ ፤ ኢብሊስ ( ዲያብሎስ ) ብቻ ሲቀር እምቢ አለ ፤ ኮራም ከከሓዲዎቹም ኾነ ፡ ፡
and ( remember ) when we ordered the angels to prostrate before adam , so they all prostrated , except iblis ( satan devil – ) ; he refused and was proud – and became a disbeliever .
