and if any has not (the wherewithal), he should fast for two months consecutively before they touch each other.
ai që nuk ka, (prandaj) nuk mund ta lirojë, është i obliguar që të agjërojë dy muaj rresht para takimit të tyre bashkëshortorë.

that which has been given to you is only the wherewithal of the transient life of this world. but that which is with allah is better and more enduring for those who believe and put their trust in their lord;
gjithë çka u është dhënë, është vetëm kënaqësi në jetën e kësaj bote, kurse ajo që është tek all-llahu, është më e mirë dhe e qëndrueshme për ata që besojnë dhe mbështeten te zoti i tyre.

to all of these as well as those we shall provide the wherewithal of this life in the present world by dint of your lord's bounty; and from none shall the bounty of your lord be withheld.
na të gjithëve u ndihmojmë: këtyreve dhe atyreve – me dhuratat e zotit tënd. e, dhuratat e zotit tënd nuk janë të penguara.

and he who findeth not (the wherewithal), let him fast for two successive months before they touch one another; and for him who is unable to do so (the penance is) the feeding of sixty needy ones.
ai që nuk ka, (prandaj) nuk mund ta lirojë, është i obliguar që të agjërojë dy muaj rresht para takimit të tyre bashkëshortorë. e, ai që nuk mund të përballojë agjërimin, duhet t’i ushqejë gjashtëdhjetë të varfër.
