this also applies for creams and ointments with cera lanae (wool wax).
dies gilt auch für cremes und salben mit cera lanae (wollwachs).

in this field only wool grease (latin term: adeps lanae) and its admixture with paraffin oil and water (lanolin according to the german pharmacopoeia "dab") still play a major role. wool grease supports the formation of water in oil emulsions (w/o) and has valuable skin protecting properties. however it is not recom mended for oily and bad skin and skin which is susceptible for acne.
in diesem bereich spielt nur noch das wollwachs (adeps lanae) oder seine abmischung mit paraffinöl und wasser (lanolin nach dab) eine größere rolle. wollwachs unterstützt die bildung von wasser-in-Öl-emulsionen (w/o) und hat gute hautschützende eigenschaften. bei fettender, unreiner und zu akne neigender haut ist es allerdings nicht geeignet.
