አብያተ ክርስትያናትንም እያጸና በሶርያና በኪልቅያ ይዞር ነበር።

do not be deceived by the actions of those who deny the truth in the land :
የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች በአገሮች መንፈላሰስ አያታልህ ፡ ፡

( o prophet ) , the book we have revealed to you is the truth , confirming the books that came before it . verily allah is well aware of his servants and sees everything .
ያም ከመጽሐፉ ወዳንተ ያወረድንልህ ከበፊቱ ላለው አረጋጋጭ ሲኾን እርሱ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ በርግጥ በባሮቹ ውስጥ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

when a messenger of god came to them confirming the ( original ) revelation that they already had received , a group of those who had the scripture with them , threw the book of god behind their backs as if they did not know anything about it .
እነርሱ ጋርም ላለው ( መጽሐፍ ) አረጋጋጭ የኾነ መልክተኛ ከአላህ ዘንድ በመጣላቸው ጊዜ ከነዚያ መጽሐፍን ከተሰጡት ከፊሉ እነርሱ እንደማያውቁ ኾነው የአላህን መጽሐፍ ከጀርባዎቻቸው ኋላ ጣሉ ፡ ፡

and when a noble messenger from allah came to them , confirming the book ( s ) which they possessed , a group of those who have received the book ( s ) flung the book of allah behind their backs as if they were totally unaware !
እነርሱ ጋርም ላለው ( መጽሐፍ ) አረጋጋጭ የኾነ መልክተኛ ከአላህ ዘንድ በመጣላቸው ጊዜ ከነዚያ መጽሐፍን ከተሰጡት ከፊሉ እነርሱ እንደማያውቁ ኾነው የአላህን መጽሐፍ ከጀርባዎቻቸው ኋላ ጣሉ ፡ ፡

and this is a book which we have sent down , bringing blessings , and confirming ( the revelations ) which came before it : that thou mayest warn the mother of cities and all around her . those who believe in the hereafter believe in this ( book ) , and they are constant in guarding their prayers .
« አላህ ( አወረደው ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በውሸታቸው ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ሲኾኑ ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ይህም ያወረድነው የኾነ ብሩክ ያንንም በፊቱ የነበረውን ( መጽሐፍ ) አረጋጋጭ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ የከተሞችን እናት ( መካን ) እና በዙሪያዋ ያሉትንም ሰዎች ልታስጠነቅቅበት ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም የሚያምኑት እነርሱ በሶላታቸው ላይ የሚጠባበቁ ሲኾኑ በርሱ ያምናሉ ፡ ፡

and this ( the quran ) is a blessed book which we have sent down , confirming ( the revelations ) which came before it , so that you may warn the mother of towns ( i.e. makkah ) and all those around it . those who believe in the hereafter believe in ( the quran ) , and they are constant in guarding their salat ( prayers ) .
« አላህ ( አወረደው ) » በላቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በውሸታቸው ውስጥ የሚጫወቱ ሲኾኑ ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ይህም ያወረድነው የኾነ ብሩክ ያንንም በፊቱ የነበረውን ( መጽሐፍ ) አረጋጋጭ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ የከተሞችን እናት ( መካን ) እና በዙሪያዋ ያሉትንም ሰዎች ልታስጠነቅቅበት ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያም በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም የሚያምኑት እነርሱ በሶላታቸው ላይ የሚጠባበቁ ሲኾኑ በርሱ ያምናሉ ፡ ፡

and the book which we have divinely revealed to you – that is the truth , confirming the books which were before it ; indeed allah is aware of his bondmen , all seeing .
ያም ከመጽሐፉ ወዳንተ ያወረድንልህ ከበፊቱ ላለው አረጋጋጭ ሲኾን እርሱ እውነት ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ በርግጥ በባሮቹ ውስጥ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

and believe in what i reveal , confirming the revelation which is with you , and be not the first to reject faith therein , nor sell my signs for a small price ; and fear me , and me alone .
ከናንተ ጋር ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥ ሆኖ ባወረድኩትም ( ቁርኣን ) እመኑ ፡ ፡ በርሱም የመጀመሪያ ከሓዲ አትሁኑ ፡ ፡ በአንቀጾቼም ጥቂትን ዋጋ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ እኔንም ብቻ ተጠንቀቁ ፡
