በጨረቃውም በሞላ ጊዜ ( እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

undeflowered by man or by jinn before them , --
ከነርሱ በፊት ሰውም ጃንም አልገሰሳቸውም ፡ ፡

and sit during the day , or by the darkening night
በሌሊቱም ( ጨለማውን ) በጠነሰሰ ጊዜ ፤

or by the night in which things all come together to rest ,
በሌሊቱም በሰበሰውም ሁሉ ፤

but if they give by measure or by weight to them , they cause loss .
ለእነርሱም ( ለሰዎቹ ) በሰፈሩ ወይም በመዘኑላቸው ጊዜ የሚያጎድሉ ( ለኾኑት ) ፡ ፡

in them maidens with averted glances , undeflowered by man or by jinn before them , --
በውስጣቸው ከበፊታቸው ( ከባሎቻቸው በፊት ) ሰውም ጃንም ያልገሰሳቸው ዓይኖቻቸውን ( በባሎቻቸው ላይ ) አሳጣሪዎች ( ሴቶች ) አልሉ ፡ ፡

or by the great father and his wonderful son ( abraham and ishmael )
በወላጂም በወለዳቸውም ሰዎች ( በአዳምና በዘሮቹ ሁሉ እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

and when they had set them in the midst, they asked, by what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
እነርሱንም በመካከል አቁመው። በምን ኃይል ወይስ በማን ስም እናንተ ይህን አደረጋችሁ? ብለው ጠየቁአቸው።

this only would i learn of you, received ye the spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
ይህን ብቻ ከእናንተ እንድማር እወዳለሁ፤ በሕግ ሥራ ወይም ከእምነት ጋር በሆነ መስማት መንፈስን ተቀበላችሁን?

all in the heavens and the earth prostrate themselves before god , either of their own free will or by force , just as do their shadows in the mornings and evenings .
በሰማያትና በምድርም ያሉት ሁሉ በውድም ሆነ በግድ ለአላህ ይሰግዳሉ ፡ ጥላዎቻቸውም በጧቶችና በሠርኮች ይሰግዳሉ ፡ ፡

say thou : bethink ye , if his torment come on you by night or by day which portion thereof would the culprlts hasten on ?
« ቅጣቱ በሌሊት ወይም በቀን ቢመጣባችሁ ፤ አጋሪዎቹ ከርሱ የሚቻኮሉበት ነገር ምንድን ነው ንገሩኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

all that is in the heavens and the earth prostrates itself , whether willingly or by force , before allah ; and so do their shadows in the morning and in the evening .
በሰማያትና በምድርም ያሉት ሁሉ በውድም ሆነ በግድ ለአላህ ይሰግዳሉ ፡ ጥላዎቻቸውም በጧቶችና በሠርኮች ይሰግዳሉ ፡ ፡

and it is not for any mortal that allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a veil , or by sending a messenger and revealing by his permission what he pleases ; surely he is high , wise .
ለሰውም አላህ በራእይ ፣ ወይም ከግርዶ ወዲያ ፣ ወይም መልክተኛን ( መልአክን ) የሚልክና በፈቃዱ የሚሻውን ነገር የሚያወርድለት ቢኾን እንጅ ( በገሃድ ) ሊያናግረው ተገቢው አይደለም ፡ ፡ እርሱ የበላይ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

do they want a religion other than the religion of god when all that is in the heavens and the earth have submitted themselves to his will , either by their own free will or by force ? to god do all things return .
በሰማያትና በምድር ያሉ ሁሉ ፤ በውድም በግድም ለርሱ የታዘዙ ወደርሱም የሚመለሱ ሲኾኑ ( ከሓዲዎች ) ከአላህ ሃይማኖት ሌላን ይፈልጋሉን

now when ye meet those who disbelieve , smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly , then make fast the bonds ; then , thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom , until the war layeth down the burthens thereof . that ye shall do .
እነዚያንም የካዱትን ( በጦር ላይ ) ባገኛችሁ ጊዜ ጫንቃዎችን በኀይል ምቱ ፡ ፡ ባደካማችኋቸውም ጊዜ ( አትግደሏቸው ማርኳቸው ) ፡ ፡ ማሰሪያውንም አጥብቁ ፡ ፡ በኋላም ወይም በነጻ ትለቋቸዋላችሁ ፤ ወይም ትበዧቸዋላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ) ጦሪቱ መሳሪያዋን እስከምትጥል ድረስ ነው ፡ ፡ ( ነገሩ ) ይህ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ቢሻ ከእነርሱ ( ያለጦር ) በተበቀለ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን ከፊላችሁን በከፊሉ ሊሞክር ( በዚህ አዘዛችሁ ) ፡ ፡ እነዚያንም በአላህ መንገድ ላይ የተገደሉትን ሥራዎቻቸውን ፈጽሞ አያጠፋባቸውም ፡ ፡

it is not fitting for a man that allah should speak to him except by inspiration , or from behind a veil , or by the sending of a messenger to reveal , with allah 's permission , what allah wills : for he is most high , most wise .
ለሰውም አላህ በራእይ ፣ ወይም ከግርዶ ወዲያ ፣ ወይም መልክተኛን ( መልአክን ) የሚልክና በፈቃዱ የሚሻውን ነገር የሚያወርድለት ቢኾን እንጅ ( በገሃድ ) ሊያናግረው ተገቢው አይደለም ፡ ፡ እርሱ የበላይ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

" and istafziz [ literally means : befool them gradually ] those whom you can among them with your voice ( i.e. songs , music , and any other call for allah 's disobedience ) , make assaults on them with your cavalry and your infantry , mutually share with them wealth and children ( by tempting them to earn money by illegal ways usury , etc . , or by committing illegal sexual intercourse , etc . ) , and make promises to them . " but satan promises them nothing but deceit .
« ከእነሱ የቻልከውንም ሰው በድምጽህ አታል ፡ ፡ በእነሱም ላይ በፈረሰኞችህ ፣ በእግረኞችህም ኾነህ ለልብ ፡ ፡ በገንዘቦቻቸውም ፣ በልጆቻቸውም ተጋራቸው ፣ ተስፋ ቃልም ግባላቸው ፡ ፡ ሰይጣንም ማታለልን እንጂ ተስፋ ቃልን አይገባላቸውም ፡ ፡
