ከአትክልቶችና ከምንጮችም ብዙ ነገሮችን ተዉ ፡ ፡

and assuredly there went stray before them many of the ancients .
ከእነርሱ በፊትም የቀድሞዎቹ ( ሕዝቦች ) አብዛኞቻቸው በእርግጥ ተሳስተዋል ፡ ፡

and truly before them , many of the ancients went astray ; -
ከእነርሱ በፊትም የቀድሞዎቹ ( ሕዝቦች ) አብዛኞቻቸው በእርግጥ ተሳስተዋል ፡ ፡

and many of the jews came to martha and mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
ከአይሁድም ብዙዎች ስለ ወንድማቸው ሊያጽናኑአቸው ወደ ማርታና ወደ ማርያም መጥተው ነበር።

በእርሱ የሞተችን አገር ሕያው ልናደርግበት ከፈጠርነውም ፍጡር እንስሳዎችንና ብዙ ሰዎችንም ልናጠጣው ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡

and how many of the generations have we destroyed before them who were better in respect of goods and outward appearance !
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች እነሱ በቁሳቁስና በትርኢትም በጣም ያማሩትን ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡

and how many of the generations did we destroy after nuh ! and your lord is sufficient as knowing and seeing with regard to his servants ' faults .
ከኑሕም በኋላ ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሰዎች ያጠፋናቸው ብዙዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ የባሮቹንም ኃጢኣቶች ውስጠ ዐዋቂ ተመልካች መኾን በጌታህ በቃ ፡ ፡

and many of the samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, he told me all that ever i did.
ሴቲቱም። ያደረግሁትን ሁሉ ነገረኝ ብላ ስለ መሰከረችው ቃል ከዚያች ከተማ የሰማርያ ሰዎች ብዙ አመኑበት።

and thou shalt see many of them hastening toward sin and transgression and their devouring of the forbidden . vile indeed is that which they have been doing !
ከእነርሱም ብዙዎቹን በኃጢአትና በበደል እርምንም በመብላታቸው የሚጣደፉ ሲኾኑ ታያለህ ፡ ፡ ይሠሩት የነበሩት ነገር በጣም ከፋ !

and many of the people believed on him, and said, when christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
ከሕዝቡ ግን ብዙዎች አመኑበትና። ክርስቶስ በመጣ ጊዜ ይህ ካደረጋቸው ምልክቶች ይልቅ ያደርጋልን? አሉ።

had he yielded to you on many of the matters , you would have been in great trouble . but god has endeared the faith to you and has made it attractive to your hearts .
በውስጣችሁም የአላህ መልክተኛ መኖሩን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ከነገሩ በብዙው ቢከተላችሁ ኖሮ በእርግጥ በተቸገራችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ አምነትን ወደናንተ አስወደደ ፡ ፡ በልቦቻችሁም ውሰጥ አጌጠው ፡ ፡ ክህደትንና አመጽንም እንቢተኛነትንም ወደናንተ የተጠላ አደረገ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ( እምነትን የወደዱና ክሕደተን የጠሉ ) እነርሱ ቅኖቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

and now you can see many of them taking the unbelievers ( instead of the believers ) for their allies . indeed they have prepared evil for themselves .
ከእነሱ ብዙዎቹን እነዚያን የካዱትን ሲወዳጁ ታያለህ ፡ ፡ በእነሱ ላይ አላህ የተቆጣባቸው በመኾኑ ለእነርሱ ነፍሶቻቸው ያስቀደሙት ሥራ በጣም ከፋ ፡ ፡ እነሱም በቅጣት ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and many of the devils ( we also made obedient to him ) who dived for him , and did many other things ; and we kept watch over them .
ከሰይጣናትም ለእርሱ ( ሉልን ለማውጣት ) የሚጠልሙንና ከዚያም ሌላ ያለን ሥራ የሚሠሩን ( ገራንለት ) ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ተጠባባቂዎች ነበርን ፡ ፡

does it not then direct them aright how many of the generations in whose dwelling-places they go about we destroyed before them ? most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding .
( ቁረይሾች ) ከእነሱ በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን ያጠፋን መኾናችን በመኖሪያዎቻቸው የሚኼዱ ኾነው ሳሉ ለእነርሱ አልተገለጸላቸውምን በዚህ ውስጥ ለአእምሮ ባለቤቶች በእርግጥ መልክቶች አሉበት ፡ ፡

and assuredly we sent nuh and ibrahim , and we placed in the posterity of the twain the prophecy and the book . then of them some are guided ones , and many of them are transgressors .
ኑሕን ፣ ኢብራሂምንም በእርግጥ ላክን ፡ ፡ በዘሮቻቸውም ውስጥ ነቢይነትንና መጽሐፎችን አደረግን ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ቅን አልለ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱም ብዙዎቹ አመጸኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡

already have we urged unto hell many of the jinn and humankind , having hearts wherewith they understand not , and having eyes wherewith they see not , and having ears wherewith they hear not . these are as the cattle - nay , but they are worse !
ከጋኔንም ከሰዎችም ብዙዎችን ለገሀነም በእርግጥ ፈጠርን ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ በርሳቸው የማያውቁባቸው ልቦች አሏቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም በሳቸው የማያዩባቸው ዓይኖች አሉዋቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም በሳቸው የማይሰሙባቸው ጆሮዎች አሉዋቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እንደ እንስሳዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም እነርሱ በጣም የተሳሳቱ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያ ዘንጊዎቹ እነርሱ ናቸው ፤

and even so their associate-gods have made fair seeming unto many of the associaters the slaying of their offspring , so that they may cause them to perish and that they may confound unto them their religion . and had allah so willed , they would not have done it .
እንደዚሁም ከአጋሪዎቹ ለብዙዎቹ ፤ ተጋሪዎቻቸው ሊያጠፉዋቸው ሃይማኖ ታቸውንም በእነሱ ላይ ሊያቀላቅሉባቸው ( ሊያመሳስሉባቸው ) ልጆቻቸውን መግደልን አሳመሩላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም በሻ ኖሮ ባልሠሩት ነበር ፡ ፡ ከቅጥፈታቸውም ጋር ተዋቸው ፡ ፡

" ye did not seek to hide yourselves , lest your hearing , your sight , and your skins should bear witness against you ! but ye did think that allah knew not many of the things that ye used to do !
ጆሮዎቻችሁ ዓይኖቻችሁና ቆዳዎቻችሁም በእናንተ ላይ ከመመስከራቸው የምትደበቁ አልነበራችሁም ፡ ፡ ግን አላህ ከምትሠሩት ብዙውን አያውቅም ብላችሁ ጠረጠራችሁ ፡ ፡
