ለማኝንም አትገላምጥ ፡ ፡

and what have you understood , what the valley is !
ዓቀበቲቱም ( መውጣቷ ) ምን እንደኾነች ምን አሳወቀህ ?

and thamood , who hollowed the rocks in the valley ,
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and thamood , who hewed out the rocks of the valley ?
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and thamood those — who carved the rocks in the valley .
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and how did he deal with thamud who hewed out rocks in the valley ?
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and ( with ) samood , who hewed out the rocks in the valley ,
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and [ with ] thamud , who carved out the rocks in the valley ?
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

thee ( alone ) we worship ; thee ( alone ) we ask for help .
አንተን ብቻ እንግገዛለን ፤ አንተንም ብቻ እርዳታን እንለምናለን ፡ ፡

and [ the people of ] thamud , who hollowed out the rocks in the valley ,
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

and with ( the tribe of ) thamud , who clove the rocks in the valley ;
በሰሙድም በእነዚያ በሸለቆው ቋጥኝን የቆረጡ በኾኑት ፡ ፡

you alone we worship , and to you alone we turn for help .
አንተን ብቻ እንግገዛለን ፤ አንተንም ብቻ እርዳታን እንለምናለን ፡ ፡

noah called for help . how blessed was the answer which he received .
ኑሕም በእርግጥ ጠራን ፡ ፡ ጥሪውን ተቀባዮቹም ምንኛ አማርን !

my people , i am afraid for you on ( the day of judgment ) , when people will cry for help .
« ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! እኔ በእናንተ ላይ የመጠራሪያን ቀን እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡ »

and to allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth ; and allah suffices for help and protection .
በሰማያት ያለውና በምድርም ያለው ሁሉ የአላህ ነው ፡ ፡ መመከያም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡

" do not supplicate for help today ; you will not be rescued by us ;
ዛሬ አትወትውቱ ፤ እናንተ ከእኛ ዘንድ አትረዱም ፡ ፡

it is he who kept peace between you and the people of the valley of mecca after having given you a victory over them . god is well aware of what you do .
እርሱም ያ በመካ ውስጥ በእነርሱ ላይ ካስቻለችሁ በኋላ እጆቻቸውን ከእናንተ ላይ እጆቻችሁንም ከእነርሱ ላይ የከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

it is he who withheld their hands from you , and your hands from them in the valley of makkah , after giving you victory over them . god sees what you do .
እርሱም ያ በመካ ውስጥ በእነርሱ ላይ ካስቻለችሁ በኋላ እጆቻቸውን ከእናንተ ላይ እጆቻችሁንም ከእነርሱ ላይ የከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

and he it is who held back their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of mecca after he had given you victory over them ; and allah is seeing what you do .
እርሱም ያ በመካ ውስጥ በእነርሱ ላይ ካስቻለችሁ በኋላ እጆቻቸውን ከእናንተ ላይ እጆቻችሁንም ከእነርሱ ላይ የከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትሠሩትን ሁሉ ተመልካች ነው ፡ ፡

and whatever you have of favor - it is from allah . then when adversity touches you , to him you cry for help .
ማንኛውም በእናንተ ላይ ያለው ጸጋ ከአላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ችግር በደረሰባችሁ ጊዜ ወደርሱ ብቻ ትጮሃላችሁ ፡ ፡
