በቀኑ መጀመሪያና መጨረሻም አጥሩት ፡ ፡

and , remember the name of your lord at the dawn and in the evening ;
የጌታህንም ስም በጧትና ከቀትር በላይ አውሳ ፡ ፡

and exalt him in the night , and at the ends of the prostrations .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ከስግደቶችም በኋላዎች ( አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and in the night also hallow him , and at the setting of the stars .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ፡ ፡ በከዋክብት መዳበቂያ ጊዜም ( ንጋት ላይ አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and in the night , give him glory too , and at the setting of the stars .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ፡ ፡ በከዋክብት መዳበቂያ ጊዜም ( ንጋት ላይ አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and proclaim the praise of thy lord in the night , and at the declining of the stars .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ፡ ፡ በከዋክብት መዳበቂያ ጊዜም ( ንጋት ላይ አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and in the night time , also glorify his praises , and at the setting of the stars .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ፡ ፡ በከዋክብት መዳበቂያ ጊዜም ( ንጋት ላይ አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and establish the prayer at the two ends of the day and in the first hours of the night . indeed the good deeds drive away the evil deeds .
ሶላትንም በቀን ጫፎች ከሌሊትም ክፍሎች ፈጽም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራዎች ኀጢአቶችን ያስወገድዳሉና ፡ ፡ ይህ ለተገሳጮች ግሳጼ ነው ፡ ፡

we have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty ( in ) the stars , -
እኛ ቅርቢቱን ሰማይ በከዋክብት ጌጥ አጌጥናት ፡ ፡

proclaim his praise in the night and at the end of every prayer .
ከሌሊቱም አወድሰው ከስግደቶችም በኋላዎች ( አወድሰው ) ፡ ፡

and establish thou the prayer at the two ends of the day , and in the neighbouring watches of the night verily virtues take away vices . that is a reminder unto the mindful .
ሶላትንም በቀን ጫፎች ከሌሊትም ክፍሎች ፈጽም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራዎች ኀጢአቶችን ያስወገድዳሉና ፡ ፡ ይህ ለተገሳጮች ግሳጼ ነው ፡ ፡

his is the praise in the heavens and the earth , at the setting sun and at noon .
ምስጋናም በሰማያትና በምድር ውስጥ ለርሱ ብቻ ( የተገባው ) ነው ፡ ፡ በሰርክም ፤ በቀትር ውስጥ በምትገቡም ጊዜ ፤ ( አጥሩት ) ፡ ፡

he hides from the people out of distress at the news he has been brought : shall he retain it in humiliation , or bury it in the ground ! behold !
በእርሱ ከተበሰረበት ነገር መጥፎነት በውርደት ላይ ኾኖ ይያዘውን ወይስ በዐፈር ውስጥ ይደብቀውን ( በማለት እያምታታ ) ከሰዎች ይደበቃል ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ምንኛ ከፋ !

and his is all praise in the heavens and the earth ! --and at the sun 's decline and when ye enter the noon .
ምስጋናም በሰማያትና በምድር ውስጥ ለርሱ ብቻ ( የተገባው ) ነው ፡ ፡ በሰርክም ፤ በቀትር ውስጥ በምትገቡም ጊዜ ፤ ( አጥሩት ) ፡ ፡

and hides from people for shame at the news , ( at a loss ) whether he should keep her with shame , or bury her in the ground . how bad is the judgement that they make !
በእርሱ ከተበሰረበት ነገር መጥፎነት በውርደት ላይ ኾኖ ይያዘውን ወይስ በዐፈር ውስጥ ይደብቀውን ( በማለት እያምታታ ) ከሰዎች ይደበቃል ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ምንኛ ከፋ !

do they not look at the birds , held poised in the midst of ( the air and ) the sky ? nothing holds them up but ( the power of ) allah .
ወደ በራሪዎች በሰማይ አየር ውስጥ ( ለመብረር ) የተገሩ ሲኾኑ ( ከመውደቅ ) አላህ እንጂ ሌላ የማይዛቸው ኾነው አይመለከቱምን በዚህ ውስጥ ለሚያምኑ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምራቶች አሉ ፡ ፡

so bear patiently with what they say . glorify your lord , praising him before sunrise and before sunset , and in the watches of the night , and glorify him and at the ends of the day that you may attain to happiness .
በሚሉትም ላይ ታገስ ፡ ፡ ጌታህንም ፀሐይ ከመውጣትዋ በፊት ከመግባትዋም በፊት የምታመሰግን ኾነህ አጥራው ፤ ( ስገድ ) ፡ ፡ ከሌሊት ሰዓቶችም በቀን ጫፎችም አጥራው ፡ ፡ ( በሚሰጥህ ምንዳ ) ልትወድ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

lo ! those who purchase a small gain at the cost of allah 's covenant and their oaths , they have no portion in the hereafter . allah will neither speak to them nor look upon them on the day of resurrection , nor will he make them grow .
እነዚህ በአላህ ቃል ኪዳንና በመሐላዎቻቸው ጥቂትን ዋጋ የሚለውጡ እነዚያ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ምንም ዕድል የላቸውም ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤ ቀንም አላህ አያነጋግራቸውም ፡ ፡ ወደ እነርሱም አይመለከትም አያነጻቸውምም ፡ ፡ ለነሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

anyone who fancies that allah will not support him in this world and in the hereafter , let him reach out to heaven through a rope , and then make a hole in the sky and see whether his device can avert that which enrages him .
አላህ ( መልክተኛውን ) በቅርቢቱም በመጨረሻይቱም ዓለም አይረዳውም ብሎ የሚያስብ ሰው ገመድን ወደ ሰማይ ይዘርጋ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ትንፋሹ እስኪቆረጥ ) ይታነቅ ፡ ፡ ተንኮሉ የሚያስቆጨውን ነገር ያስወግድለት እንደሆነም ይመልከት ፡ ፡

a written record of the contract is more just in the sight of god , more helpful for the witness , and a more scrupulous way to avoid doubt . however , if everything in the contract is exchanged at the same time , there is no sin in not writing it down .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! እስከ ተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ በዕዳ በተዋዋላችሁ ጊዜ ጻፉት ፡ ፡ ጸሐፊም በመካከላችሁ በትክክል ይጻፍ ፡ ፡ ጸሐፊም አላህ እንደ አሳወቀው መጻፍን እንቢ አይበል ፡ ፡ ይጻፍም ፡ ፡ ያም በርሱ ላይ ዕዳው ያለበት ሰው በቃሉ ያስጽፍ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ጌታውን ይፍራ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ( ካለበት ዕዳ ) ምንንም አያጉድል ፡ ፡ ያም በርሱ ላይ ዕዳው ያለበት ቂል ፣ ወይም ደካማ ፣ ወይም በቃሉ ማስጻፍን የማይችል ቢኾን ዋቢው በትክክል ያስጽፍለት ፡ ፡ ከወንዶቻችሁም ሁለትን ምስክሮች አስመስክሩ ፡ ፡ ሁለትም ወንዶች ባይኾኑ ከምስክሮች ሲኾኑ ከምትወዱዋቸው የኾኑን አንድ ወንድና አንደኛዋ ስትረሳ አንደኛይቱ ሌላዋን ታስታውሳት ዘንድ ሁለት ሴቶች ( ይመስክሩ ) ፡ ፡ ምስክሮችም በተጠሩ ጊዜ እንቢ አይበሉ ፡ ፡ ( ዕዳው ) ትንሽ ወይም ትልቅ ቢኾንም እስከ ጊዜው ድረስ የምትጽፉት ከመኾን አትሰልቹ ፡ ፡ እንዲህ ማድረጋችሁ አላህ ዘንድ በጣም ትክክል ለምስክርነትም አረጋጋጭ ላለመጠራጠራችሁም በጣም ቅርብ ነው ፡ ፡ ግን በመካከላችሁ እጅ በጅ የምትቀባበሏት ንግድ ብትኾን ባትጽፉዋት በናንተ ላይ ኃጢኣት የለባችሁም ፡ ፡ በተሻሻጣችሁም ጊዜ አስመስክሩ ፡ ፡ ጸሐፊም ምስክርም ( ባለ ጉዳዩ ጋር ) አይጎዳዱ ፡ ፡ ( ይህንን ) ብትሠሩም እርሱ በእናንተ ( የሚጠጋ ) አመጽ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህም ያሳውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ አላህም ነገሩን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
