nay ! when it comes up to the throat ,
ንቁ ( ነፍስ ) ብሪዎችን በደረሰች ጊዜ ፤

but when it comes upon them suddenly , taking them unawares ,
እነርሱ የማያውቁ ሲኾኑ ( ቅጣቱ ) ድንገት እስከሚመጣባቸውም ድረስ ( አያምኑም ) ፡ ፡

and from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes ,
« ከሌሊትም ክፋት ባጨለመ ጊዜ ፤

but they deny the truth when it comes to them : so they are in a confused state .
( አልተመለከቱም ) ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም በቁርኣን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም በተማታ ነገር ውሰጥ ናቸው ፡ ፡

will you believe it when it comes to pass ? indeed , you will believe it then .
« ከዚያም ( ቅጣቱ ) በወደቀ ጊዜ በእርሱ አመናችሁበትን በእርግጥ በእርሱ የምትቻኮሉ የነበራችሁ ስትሆኑ አሁን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

surely those who disbelieve in the reminder when it comes to them , and most surely it is a mighty book :
እነዚያ በቁርኣን እርሱ አሸናፊ መጽሐፍ ሲኾን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ የካዱት ( ጠፊዎች ናቸው ) ፡ ፡

those who disbelieve in the remembrance when it comes to them and indeed this is a mighty book
እነዚያ በቁርኣን እርሱ አሸናፊ መጽሐፍ ሲኾን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ የካዱት ( ጠፊዎች ናቸው ) ፡ ፡

pay heed ! on the day when it comes upon them , it will not be averted from them , and the very punishment they mocked at will encompass them .
ቅጣቱንም ወደ ተቆጠሩ ( ጥቂት ) ጊዜያቶች ከእነርሱ ብናቆይላቸው « ( ከመውረድ ) የሚከለክለው ምንድን ነው » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! በሚመጣባቸው ቀን ከእነሱ ላይ ተመላሽ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ይሳለቁበት የነበሩትም ( ቅጣት ) በእነርሱ ላይ ይወርድባቸዋል ፡ ፡

his command , when he wills a thing , is to say to it , “ be , ” and it comes to be .
ነገሩም አንዳችን በሻ ጊዜ ኹን ማለት ነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያው ይኾናልም ፡ ፡

and when our clear communications are recited to them , those who disbelieve say with regard to the truth when it comes to them : this is clear magic .
በእነርሱም ላይ አንቀጾቻችን ግልጾች ኾነው በተነበቡ ጊዜ እነዚያ እውነቱን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ የካዱትን « ይህ ግልጽ ድግምት ነው » አሉ ፡ ፡

the day it comes no soul will speak except by his permission . and among them will be the wretched and the prosperous .
በሚመጣ ቀን ማንኛዋም ነፍስ በእርሱ ፈቃድ ቢሆን እንጂ አትናገርም ፡ ፡ ከነሱም መናጢና ዕድለኛም አልለ ፡ ፡

when our manifest signs are recited to them , the faithless say of the truth when it comes to them : ‘ this is plain magic . ’
በእነርሱም ላይ አንቀጾቻችን ግልጾች ኾነው በተነበቡ ጊዜ እነዚያ እውነቱን በመጣላቸው ጊዜ የካዱትን « ይህ ግልጽ ድግምት ነው » አሉ ፡ ፡

allah said : ' then get you down from here . it does not behove you to be arrogant here .
ከእርሷ ውረድ ፤ በእርሷ ውስጥ ልትኮራ አይገባህምና ፡ ፡ ውጣም አንተ ከወራዶቹ ነህና አለው ፡ ፡

and who does greater evil that he who forges a lie against allah or belied the truth when it comes to him ! is there not a lodging in gehenna for the unbelievers ?
በአላህ ላይም ውሸትን ከቀጣጠፈ ሰው ወይም እውነቱ በመጣለት ጊዜ ከአስዋሸ ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው በገሀነም ውስጥ ለከሓዲዎች መኖሪያ የለምን

god is too exalted to have a son . when he decides to bring some thing into existence he needs only command it to exist and it comes into existence .
ለአላህ ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም ፡ ፡ ( ከጉድለት ሁሉ ) ጠራ ፡ ፡ ነገርን በሻ ጊዜ ለርሱ የሚለው « ኹን » ነው ወዲያውም ይኾናል ፡ ፡

but who does greater evil than he who lies against god and cries lies to the very truth , when it comes to him ? is there not in gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers ?
በአላህም ላይ ከዋሸ እውነቱንም በመጣለት ጊዜ ከአስተባበለ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማን ነው ? በገሀነም ውስጥ ለከሓዲዎች መኖሪያ የለምን ? ( አለ እንጅ ) ፡ ፡

and who does greater evil than he who forges against god a lie , or cries lies to the truth when it comes to him ? what , is there not in gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers ?
በአላህ ላይም ውሸትን ከቀጣጠፈ ሰው ወይም እውነቱ በመጣለት ጊዜ ከአስዋሸ ይበልጥ በዳይ ማነው በገሀነም ውስጥ ለከሓዲዎች መኖሪያ የለምን

the angel replied , " that is how god creates whatever he wants . when he decides to do something he just orders it to exist and it comes into existence . "
፡ -ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ሰው ያልነካኝ ስኾን ለኔ እንዴት ልጅ ይኖረኛል አለች ፡ ፡ ነገሩ እንዳልሽው ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚሻውን ይፈጥራል ፡ ፡ አንዳችን በሻ ጊዜ ለርሱ ኹን ይለዋል ፤ ወዲውኑም ይኾናል አላት ፡ ፡

and he will forgive you your sins , and defer you to a stated term ; god 's term , when it comes , cannot be deferred , did you but know . " '
« ለእናንተ ከኀጢኣቶቻችሁ ይምራልና ፡ ፡ ወደተወሰነው ጊዜም ያቆያችኋል ፡ ፡ የአላህ ( የወሰነው ) ጊዜ በመጣ ወቅት አይቆይም ፡ ፡ የምታውቁት ብትኾኑ ኖሮ ( በታዘዛችሁ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ »

and the good land -- its vegetation comes forth by the leave of its lord , and the corrupt -- it comes forth but scantily . even so we turn about the signs for a people that are thankful .
መልካሙም አገር በጌታው ፈቃድ በቃዩ ( ያማረ ኾኖ ) ይወጣል ፡ ፡ ያም መጥፎ የኾነው ( በቃዩ ) ደካማ ኾኖ እንጂ አይወጣም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ለሚያመሰግኑ ሕዝቦች ታምራትን እናብራራለን ፡ ፡
