አንድ እግዚአብሔር አለና፥ በእግዚአብሔርና በሰውም መካከል ያለው መካከለኛው ደግሞ አንድ አለ፥ እርሱም ሰው የሆነ ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ነው፤

and there is one who argues concerning allah without having knowledge nor any proof nor a clear text .
ከሰዎችም ውስጥ ያለ ዕውቀት ፣ ያለ ማስረጃም ፣ ያለ አብራሪ መጽሐፍም በአላህ ነገር የሚከራከር ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡

he promises them and fills them with fancies , but there is nothing satan promises them except delusion .
( የማይፈጸመውን ) ተስፋ ይሰጣቸዋል ፡ ፡ ያስመኛቸዋልም ፡ ፡ ሰይጣንም ለማታለል እንጅ አይቀጥራቸውም ፡ ፡

there is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
ሕግን የሚሰጥና የሚፈርድ አንድ ነው፤ እርሱም ሊያድን ሊያጠፋም የሚችል ነው፤ በሌላው ግን የምትፈርድ አንተ ማን ነህ?

a severe chastisement lies in store for those that disbelieve , but there is pardon and a great reward for those that believe and work righteous deeds .
እነዚያ የካዱት ለእነርሱ ብርቱ ቅጣት አልላቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ያመኑትና በጎ ስራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነርሱ ምሕረትና ታላቅ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

for they had denied the truth when it came to them , but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule .
በእውነቱም ( ቁርኣን ) በመጣላቸው ጊዜ በእርግጥ አስተባበሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ይሳለቁበት የነበሩት ነገር ዜናዎች ( ቅጣት ) በእርግጥ ይመጣባቸዋል ፡ ፡

there is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
የፀሐይ ክብር አንድ ነው የጨረቃም ክብር ሌላ ነው የከዋክብትም ክብር ሌላ ነው፤ በክብር አንዱ ኮከብ ከሌላው ኮከብ ይለያልና።

do not think that i will accuse you to the father: there is one that accuseth you, even moses, in whom ye trust.
እኔ በአብ ዘንድ የምከሳችሁ አይምሰላችሁ፤ የሚከሳችሁ አለ፤ እርሱም ተስፋ የምታደርጉት ሙሴ ነው።

and the god of you all is one god ; there is no god but he , the compassionate , the merciful .
አምላካችሁም አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፤ ከርሱ በቀር ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ ( እርሱ ) እጅግ በጣም ርኅሩህ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

and your god is one god ! there is no god but he ; he is the beneficent , the merciful .
አምላካችሁም አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፤ ከርሱ በቀር ሌላ አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ ( እርሱ ) እጅግ በጣም ርኅሩህ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

yet they worship , besides god , things for which he sent down no warrant , and what they have no knowledge of . there is no savior for the transgressors .
ከአላህ ሌላም በእርሱ ማስረጃን ያላወረደበትን ለእነርሱም በእርሱ ዕውቀት የሌላቸውን ነገር ይግገዛሉ ፡ ፡ ለባዳዮችም ምንም ረዳት የላቸውም ፡ ፡

he could not have detained his brother under the king 's law , unless god so willed . we exalt whoever we please : but above those who have knowledge there is one all knowing .
( ምርመራውን ) ከወንድሙም ዕቃ በፊት በዕቃዎቻቸው ጀመረ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ዋንጫይቱን ) ከወንድሙ ዕቃ ውስጥ አወጣት ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ ለዩሱፍ ብልሃትን አስተማርነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ባልሻ ኖሮ በንጉሡ ሕግ ወንድሙን ሊይዝ አይገባውም ነበር ፡ ፡ የምንሻውን ሰው በደረጃዎች ከፍ እናደርጋለን ፡ ፡ ከዕውቀት ባለቤቶች ሁሉ በላይም ዐዋቂ አልለ ፡ ፡

had it not been for a word that went forth before from thy lord , ( their punishment ) must necessarily have come ; but there is a term appointed ( for respite ) .
ከጌታህ ያለፈች ቃልና የተወሰነ ጊዜ ባልነበረ ኖሮ ( ቅጣቱ አሁኑኑ ) የሚይዛቸው ይኾን ነበር ፡ ፡

whoever desires the harvest of the hereafter - we increase for him in his harvest . and whoever desires the harvest of this world - we give him thereof , but there is not for him in the hereafter any share .
( በሥራው ) የኋለኛይቱን ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ለእርሱ በአዝመራው ላይ እንጨምርለታለን ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱንም ዓለም አዝመራ የሚፈልግ የኾነ ሰው ከእርሷ ( የተወሰነለትን ብቻ ) እንሰጠዋለን ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም በኋለኛይቱ ዓለም ምንም ፋንታ የለውም ፡ ፡

surely we have sent thee with the truth good tidings to bear , and warning ; not a nation there is , but there has passed away in it a warner .
እኛ አብሳሪና አስፈራሪ አድርገን በእውነቱ ( መምሪያ ) ላክንህ ፡ ፡ ማንኛይቱም ሕዝብ በውስጧ አስፈራሪ ያላለፈባት የለችም ፡ ፡
