for i speak to you gentiles, inasmuch as i am the apostle of the gentiles, i magnify mine office:
ለእናንተም ለአሕዛብ እናገራለሁ። እኔ የአሕዛብ ሐዋርያ በሆንሁ መጠን ሥጋዬ የሆኑትን አስቀንቼ ምናልባት ከእነርሱ አንዳንዱን አድን እንደሆነ አገልግሎቴን አከብራለሁ።

he said , " well then , if you would follow me , do not ask me about anything till i speak of it to you . "
« ብትከተለኝም ለአንተ ከእርሱ ማውሳትን እስከምጀምርልህ ድረስ ከምንም ነገር አትጠይቀኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

he said : ' if you follow me , you must not question me about anything till i myself speak to you concerning it '
« ብትከተለኝም ለአንተ ከእርሱ ማውሳትን እስከምጀምርልህ ድረስ ከምንም ነገር አትጠይቀኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

" if you must follow me , " he said , " do not ask me any thing until i speak of it to you myself . "
« ብትከተለኝም ለአንተ ከእርሱ ማውሳትን እስከምጀምርልህ ድረስ ከምንም ነገር አትጠይቀኝ » አለው ፡ ፡

now, brethren, if i come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall i profit you, except i shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
አሁን ግን፥ ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ወደ እናንተ መጥቼ በልሳኖች ብናገር፥ በመግለጥ ወይም በእውቀት ወይም በትንቢት ወይም በትምህርት ካልነገርኋችሁ ምን እጠቅማችኋለሁ?

know ye not, brethren, (for i speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ ሕግን ለሚያውቁ እናገራለሁና ሰው ባለበት ዘመን ሁሉ ሕግ እንዲገዛው አታውቁምን?

do not give the immature your money which god has assigned to you for support . but provide for them from it , and clothe them , and speak to them with kind words .
ቂሎችንም ያችን አላህ ለእናንተ መተዳደሪያ ያደረጋትን ገንዘቦቻችውን ( የያዛችሁላቸውን ) አትስጡዋቸው ፡ ፡ ከርሷም መግቡዋቸው አልብሱዋቸውም ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም መልካምን ንግግር ተናገሩ ፡ ፡

and to the noble messengers whom we have mentioned to you before , and to the noble messengers we have not mentioned to you ; and allah really did speak to moosa .
ከዚህም በፊት በአንተ ላይ በእርግጥ የተረክናቸውን መልክተኞች ባንተ ላይም ያልተረክናቸውን መልክተኞች ( እንደላክን ላክንህ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ሙሳን ማነጋገርን አነጋገረው ፡ ፡

we are fully aware of what they wish to hear when they listen to you ; and what they say when they converse in private ; and when the wrongdoers say , " you are only following a man who is bewitched ! "
እኛ ወደ አንተ በሚያዳምጡ ጊዜ እነሱም በሚንሾካሾኩ ጊዜ በዳዮች ( እርስ በርሳቸው ) የተደገመበትን ስው እንጂ አትከተሉም በሚሉ ጌዜ በእርሱ የሚያዳምጡበትን ምክንያት ዐዋቂ ነን ፡ ፡

surely i conveyed to you the message of my lord , and gave you sincere advice . how , then , can i mourn for a people who refuse to accept the truth ? '
ከእነርሱም ( ትቷቸው ) ዞረ ፡ - « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! የጌታዬን መልክቶች በእርግጥ አደረስኩላችሁ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም መከርኩ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ በከሓዲዎች ሰዎች ላይ እንዴት አዝናለሁ » አለም ፡ ፡

he turned away from them saying : ' i conveyed to you , my nation , the messages of my lord and advised you . how can i grieve for the unbelieving nation '
ከእነርሱም ( ትቷቸው ) ዞረ ፡ - « ወገኖቼ ሆይ ! የጌታዬን መልክቶች በእርግጥ አደረስኩላችሁ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም መከርኩ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ በከሓዲዎች ሰዎች ላይ እንዴት አዝናለሁ » አለም ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " let me tell you about what your lord has commanded : do not consider anything equal to god ; be kind to your parents ; do not murder your children out of fear of poverty , for we give sustenance to you and to them . do not even approach indecency either in public or in private .
« ኑ ፤ ጌታችሁ በእናንተ ላይ እርም ያደርገውን ነገር ( በእርሱም ያዘዛችሁን ) ላንብብላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « በእርሱ ( በአላህ ) ምንንም ነገር አታጋሩ ፡ ፡ ለወላጆችም በጎን ሥራ ( ሥሩ ) ፡ ፡ ልጆቻችሁንም ከድህንት ( ፍራቻ ) አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ እኛ እናንተንም እነርሱንም እንመግባችኋለንና ፡ ፡ መጥፎ ሥራዎችንም ከእርሷ የተገለጸውንም የተደበቀውንም ሁሉ አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ ያችንም አላህ እርም ያደረጋትን ነፍስ በሕግ ቢኾን እንጅ አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ ይህን ታውቁ ዘንድ ( አላህ ) በእርሱ አዘዛችሁ ፡ ፡ »
