and feed the needy for the love of him , and the orphans and the captives ,
ምግብንም ከመውደዳቸው ጋር ለድኻ ፣ ለየቲምም ፣ ለምርኮኛም ለእስረኛም ያበላሉ ፡ ፡

they feed the destitute , orphans , and captives for the love of god , saying ,
ምግብንም ከመውደዳቸው ጋር ለድኻ ፣ ለየቲምም ፣ ለምርኮኛም ለእስረኛም ያበላሉ ፡ ፡

in response they denied him , so they will surely be brought forth as captives .
አስተባበሉትም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እነርሱ ( ለቅጣት ) የሚጣዱ ናቸው ፡ ፡

the prophet is not supposed to take any captives to strengthen his position on the earth . you want worldly gains but god wants the life hereafter for you .
ለነቢይ በምድር ላይ እስቲያደክም ድረስ ለእርሱ ምርኮኞች ሊኖሩት አይገባም ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱን ዓለም ጠፊ ጥቅም ትፈልጋላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም መጨረሻይቱን ይሻል ፡ ፡ አላህም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

and he brought those of the people of the book who backed them down from their fortresses and cast into their hearts terror ; a part of them ye slew , and ye made captives a part .
እነዚያንም ከመጽሐፉ ባለቤቶች ( አሕዛቦችን ) የረዷቸውን ( ቁረይዟን ) ከምሽጎቻቸው አወረዳቸው ፡ ፡ በልቦቻቸውም ውስጥ መባባትን ጣለባቸው ፡ ፡ ከፊሉን ትገድላላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከፊሉንም ትማርካላችሁ ፡ ፡

except from their wives or ( the captives and slaves ) that their right hands possess , for then , they are free from blame ;
በሚስቶቻቸው ወይም እጆቻቸው በያዟቸው ( ባሪያዎች ) ላይ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( በነዚህ ) የማይወቀሱ ናቸውና ፡ ፡

( had you taken captives ) before being allowed by god 's revelations , a great torment would have struck you for what you had done .
ከአላህ ያለፈ ፍርድ ባልነበረ ኖሮ በወሰዳችሁት ( ቤዛ ) ከባድ ቅጣት በነካችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡

but inspite of this , you are killing your brethren and driving them out from their homes and making unjust and aggressive alliances against one another . and when they come to you as captives , you trade on their ransoms whereas their expulsion itself was unlawful for you .
ከዚያም እናንተ እነዚያ ነፍሶቻችሁን የምትገድሉ ከናንተም የኾኑ ጭፍሮችን በኃጢአትና በመበደል በነርሱ ላይ የምትረዳዱ ስትኾኑ ከአገሮቻቸው የምታወጡ ምርኮኞችም ኾነው ቢመጡዋችሁ የምትበዡ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ( ነገሩ ) እነርሱን ማውጣት በእናንተ ላይ የተከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ በመጽሐፉ ከፊል ታምናላችሁን ? በከፊሉም ትክዳላችሁን ? ከእናንተም ይህንን የሚሠራ ሰው ቅጣት በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ውርደት እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤ ቀንም ወደ ብርቱ ቅጣት ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ሁሉ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

but you still kill one another , and you turn a section of your people from their homes , assisting one another against them with guilt and oppression . yet when they are brought to you as captives you ransom them , although forbidden it was to drive them away .
ከዚያም እናንተ እነዚያ ነፍሶቻችሁን የምትገድሉ ከናንተም የኾኑ ጭፍሮችን በኃጢአትና በመበደል በነርሱ ላይ የምትረዳዱ ስትኾኑ ከአገሮቻቸው የምታወጡ ምርኮኞችም ኾነው ቢመጡዋችሁ የምትበዡ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ( ነገሩ ) እነርሱን ማውጣት በእናንተ ላይ የተከለከለ ነው ፡ ፡ በመጽሐፉ ከፊል ታምናላችሁን ? በከፊሉም ትክዳላችሁን ? ከእናንተም ይህንን የሚሠራ ሰው ቅጣት በቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ውርደት እንጂ ሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በትንሣኤ ቀንም ወደ ብርቱ ቅጣት ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ከምትሠሩት ሥራ ሁሉ ዘንጊ አይደለም ፡ ፡

a prophet may not take captives until he has thoroughly decimated [ the enemy ] in the land . you desire the transitory gains of this world , while allah desires [ for you ] [ the reward of ] the hereafter , and allah is all-mighty , all-wise .
ለነቢይ በምድር ላይ እስቲያደክም ድረስ ለእርሱ ምርኮኞች ሊኖሩት አይገባም ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱን ዓለም ጠፊ ጥቅም ትፈልጋላችሁ ፡ ፡ አላህም መጨረሻይቱን ይሻል ፡ ፡ አላህም አሸናፊ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡
