ጠ.ሀ. ( ጣ ሃ )

and we exalted him to a position lofty . * chapter : 19
ወደ ከፍተኛም ስፍራ አነሳነው ፡ ፡

that they should ascribe unto the compassionate a son . * chapter : 19
ለአልረሕማን ልጅ አልለው ስለአሉ ፡ ፡

and they say : the compassionate hath taken a son . * chapter : 19
« አልረሕማንም ልጅን ያዘ ( ወለደ ) » አሉ ፡ ፡

and shall drive the culprits to hell as a herd . * chapter : 19
ከሓዲዎችንም የተጠሙ ኾነው ወደ ገሀነም የምንነዳበትን ( ቀን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

this chapter is a reminder . let those who want , seek guidance from their lord .
ይህቺ መገሠጫ ናት ፡ ፡ የሻም ሰው ወደ ጌታው መንገድን ይይዛል ፡ ፡

and it behoveth not the compassionate that he should take a son . * chapter : 19
ለአልረሕማን ልጅን መያዝ አይገባውም ፡ ፡

and each of them is to come to him on the day of judgment alone . * chapter : 19
ሁሉም በትንሣኤ ቀን ለየብቻ ኾነው ወደርሱ መጪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

remembereth not man that we created him afore when he was not aught ? * chapter : 19
ሰው ከአሁን በፊት ምንም ነገር ያልነበረ ሲኾን እኛ የፈጠርነው መኾኑን አያስታውስምን

and they have taken gods beside allah that they might be unto them a glory . * chapter : 19
ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለእነሱ መከበሪያ ( አማላጅ ) እንዲኾኑዋቸው ያዙ ፡ ፡

a chapter that we have revealed , and made obligatory , and revealed in it clear verses , that you may take heed .
( ይህች ) ያወረድናትና የደነገግናት ምዕራፍ ናት ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ትገሰፁ ዘንድ ግልጾችን አንቀጾች አውርደናል ፡ ፡

beholdest thou not that we have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement ? * chapter : 19
እኛ ሰይጣናትን በከሓዲዎች ላይ ( በመጥፎ ሥራ ) ማወባራትን የሚያወባሩዋቸው ሲኾኑ የላክን መኾናችንን አለየህምን

and man saith : when i am daed , shall i be presently brought forth alive . * chapter : 19
ሰውም « በሞትኩ ጊዜ ወደፊት ሕያው ኾኜ ( ከመቃብር ) እወጣለሁን » ይላል ፡ ፡

and if you are in doubt as to that which we have revealed to our servant , then produce a chapter like it and call on your witnesses besides allah if you are truthful .
በባሪያችንም ላይ ካወረድነው በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ብትኾኑ ከብጤው አንዲትን ምዕራፍ አምጡ ፡ ፡ እውነተኞችም እንደኾናችሁ ከአላህ ሌላ መስካሪዎቻችሁን ጥሩ ፡ ፡

( the virtuous mentioned in this chapter ) want only what god wants . god is all-knowing and all-wise .
አላህም ካልሻ በስተቀር አትሹም ፡ ፡ አላህ ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

and how many a generation have we destroyed before them ! perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper ? * chapter : 20
ከእነሱም በፊት ከክፍለ ዘመናት ሕዝቦች ብዙዎችን አጥፍተናል ፡ ፡ ከእነሱ አንድን እንኳ ታያለህን ወይስ ለእነሱ ሹክሹክታን ትሰማለህን

and he was wont to command his household to the prayer and the poor-rate , and he was with his lord an approved one . * chapter : 19
ቤተሰቦቹንም በሶላትና በዘካ ያዝ ነበር ፡ ፡ እጌታውም ዘንድ ተወዳጅ ነበር ፡ ፡

gardens everlasting , which the compassionate hath promised unto his bondmen , unseen ; verily his premise is ever to be fulfilled . * chapter : 19
የመኖሪያን ገነቶች ያችን አልረሕማን ለባሮቹ በሩቅ ኾነው ሳሉ ተስፋ ቃል የገባላቸውን ( ይገባሉ ) ፡ ፡ እርሱ ተስፋው ተፈጻሚ ነውና ፤

and allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided , and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return . * chapter : 19
እነዚያንም የቀኑትን ሰዎች አላህ ቅንነትን ይጨምርላቸዋል ፡ ፡ መልካሞቹ ቀሪዎች ( ሥራዎች ) እጌታህ ዘንድ በምንዳ በላጭ ናቸው ፡ ፡ በመመለሻም የተሻሉ ናቸው ፡ ፡
