and say thou , my lord ! cause me to land at a landing blest , and thou art the best of these who bring to land .
በልም « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ብሩክ የኾነን ማውረድ አውርደኝ ፡ ፡ አንተም ከአውራጆች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ ፡ ፡ »

or , that he will not seize them , a little at a time and destroy them ? indeed , your lord is clement , the most merciful .
ወይም ቀስ በቀስ በማጉደል ላይ የሚይዛቸው መኾኑን ( አይፈሩምን ) ጌታችሁም በእርግጥ ርኅሩኅ አዛኝ ነው ፡ ፡

and hides from people for shame at the news , ( at a loss ) whether he should keep her with shame , or bury her in the ground . how bad is the judgement that they make !
በእርሱ ከተበሰረበት ነገር መጥፎነት በውርደት ላይ ኾኖ ይያዘውን ወይስ በዐፈር ውስጥ ይደብቀውን ( በማለት እያምታታ ) ከሰዎች ይደበቃል ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ምንኛ ከፋ !

and he entered the city at a time of unawareness of the inhabitants thereof , and he found therein two men fighting , one being of his own party , and the other of his enemies . and he who was of his party , called him for help against him who was of his enemies .
ከተማይቱንም ሰዎቿ በዝንጋቴ ጊዜ ላይ ሆነው ሳሉ ገባ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ የሚጋደሉን ሁለት ሰዎችን አገኘ ፡ ፡ ይህ ከወገኑ ነው ፤ ይህም ከጠላቱ ነው ፡ ፡ ያም ከወገኑ የሆነው ሰው በዚያ ከጠላቱ በሆነው ሰው ላይ እርዳታን ጠየቀው ፡ ፡ ሙሳም በጡጫ መታው ፡ ፡ ገደለውም ፡ ፡ ይህ ከሰይጣን ሥራ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ግልጽ አሳሳች ጠላት ነውና አለ ፡ ፡

and pray , “ my lord ! cause me to alight at a blessed place – and you are the best of all who bring to settle . ”
