we shall soon be free to turn to you , o weary caravans ,
እናንተ ሁለት ከባዶች ( ሰዎችና ጋኔኖች ) ሆይ ! ለእናንተ ( መቆጣጠር ) በእርግጥ እናስባለን ፡ ፡

god begins the creation then causes it to turn back and to him you will all return .
አላህ መፍጠርን ይጀምራል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ይመልሰዋል ፤ ከዚያም ወደርሱ ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

my communications were indeed recited to you , but you used to turn back on your heels ,
አንቀጾቹ በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ይነበቡላችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ በተረከዞቻችሁም ላይ ወደ ኋላችሁ ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡

god intends to redeem you , but those who follow their desires want you to turn away utterly .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

" my signs used to be rehearsed to you , but ye used to turn back on your heels-
አንቀጾቹ በእናንተ ላይ በእርግጥ ይነበቡላችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡ በተረከዞቻችሁም ላይ ወደ ኋላችሁ ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡

and indeed they had already made a covenant with allah not to turn their backs , and a covenant with allah must be answered for .
ጀርባዎችንም ላያዞሩ ከዚያ በፊት በእርግጥ አላህን ቃል ኪዳን የተጋቡ ነበሩ ፡ ፡ የአላህም ቃል ኪዳን የሚጠየቁበት ነው ፡ ፡

and certainly they endeavored to turn him from his guests , but we blinded their eyes ; so taste my chastisement and my warning .
ከእንግዶቹም እንዲያስመቻቸው ደጋግመው ፈለጉት ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ዓይኖቻቸውን አበስን ፡ ፡ « ቅጣቴንና ማስጠንቀቂያዎቼንም ቅመሱ » ( አልናቸው ) ፡ ፡

and allah indeed wants to turn graciously towards you ; but those who follow their lusts would want you to drift far away from the right way .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

all these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn ( to the truth ) .
( ይህንን ያደረግነው ) ተመላሽ ለኾነ ባሪያ ሁሉ ለማሳየትና ለማስገንዘብ ነው ፡ ፡

allah desires to turn toward you clemently , but those who pursue their [ base ] appetites desire that you fall into gross waywardness .
አላህም በእናንተ ላይ ጸጸትን ሊቀበል ይሻል ፡ ፡ እነዚያም ፍላጎታቸውን የሚከተሉት ( ከውነት ) ትልቅን መዘንበል እንድትዘነበሉ ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡

and they had already promised allah before not to turn their backs and flee . and ever is the promise to allah [ that about which one will be ] questioned .
ጀርባዎችንም ላያዞሩ ከዚያ በፊት በእርግጥ አላህን ቃል ኪዳን የተጋቡ ነበሩ ፡ ፡ የአላህም ቃል ኪዳን የሚጠየቁበት ነው ፡ ፡

' have you come to turn us away from our gods ( they replied ) ? if what you say is true then bring down that which you promise us '
« ከአማልክቶቻችን ልታዞረን መጣህብን ? ከውነተኞቹም እንደኾንክ የምትዝትብንን ( ቅጣት ) አምጣው » አሉ ፡ ፡

" have you come , " said they , " to turn us back from what we found our ancestors doing , so that the two of you may attain supremacy in the land ? we shall not believe in what you say .
( እነርሱም ) አሉ ፡ - « አባቶቻችንን በእርሱ ላይ ካገኘንበት ሃይማኖት ልታዞረን ለእናንተም በምድር ውስጥ ኩራት ( ሹመት ) ልትኖራችሁ መጣህብን እኛም ለእናንተ አማኞች አይደለንም ፡ ፡ »
