« ትክክል ሜዳም ኾና ይተዋታል ፡ ፡

ምክንያትን ለማስወገድ ወይም ለማስፈራራት ( ጣይዎች በኾኑት መላእክት ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

but only as an exhortation for him who fears god ;
ግን አላህን ለሚፈራ ሰው መገሰጫ ይኾን ዘንድ ( አወረድነው ) ፡ ፡

verily ill it is as an abode and as a station .
እርሷ መርጊያና መቀመጫ በመኾን ከፋች ! ( ይላሉ ) ፡ ፡

የመርየም ልጅም ምሳሌ በተደረገ ጊዜ ሕዝቦችህ ( ከሓዲዎቹ ) ወዲያውኑ ከእርሱ ይስቃሉ ፡ ፡

abiders therein : excellent it is as an abode and as a station .
በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ኾነው ( ይስሰጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ መርጊያና መኖሪያይቱ አማረች ፡ ፡

a book whose signs have been distinguished as an arabic koran for a people having knowledge ,
አንቀጾቹ የተብራሩ የኾነ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ ዐረብኛ ቁርኣን ሲኾን ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች ( የተብራራ ) ነው ፡ ፡

abiding therein ; excellent it is as an abode , and as a place to dwell .
በእርሷ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ኾነው ( ይስሰጣሉ ) ፡ ፡ መርጊያና መኖሪያይቱ አማረች ፡ ፡

ከመልክተኛ ለወደደው ቢኾን እንጅ ( ለሌላ አይገልጽም ) ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከስተፊቱም ከስተኋላውም ጠባቂዎችን ያደርግለታል ፡ ፡

and allah is most knowing of your enemies ; and sufficient is allah as an ally , and sufficient is allah as a helper .
አላህም ጠላቶቻችሁን ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ጠባቂነትም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡ ረዳትነትም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡

and ( as for ) the moon , we have ordained for it stages till it becomes again as an old dry palm branch .
ጨረቃንም የመስፈሪያዎች ባለቤት ሲኾን እንደ ዘንባባ አሮጌ ቀንዘል እስኪኾን ድረስ ( መኼዱን ) ለካነው ፡ ፡

and horses , and mules , and asses , for you to ride , and as an adornment ; and he creates what you know not .
ፈረሶችንም ፣ በቅሎዎችንም ፣ አህዮችንም ልትቀመጡዋቸውና ልታጌጡባቸው ( ፈጠረላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ የማታውቁትንም ድንቅ ነገር ይፈጥራል ፡ ፡

and ( he made ) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament ; and he creates what you do not know .
ፈረሶችንም ፣ በቅሎዎችንም ፣ አህዮችንም ልትቀመጡዋቸውና ልታጌጡባቸው ( ፈጠረላችሁ ) ፡ ፡ የማታውቁትንም ድንቅ ነገር ይፈጥራል ፡ ፡

he will have mercy on you if he wills and chastise you if he wills . we have not sent you , ( o muhammad ) , as an overseer over them .
ጌታችሁ በእናንተ ( ኹኔታ ) ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ቢሻ ያዝንላችኋል ፤ ወይም ቢሻ ይቀጣችኋል ፡ ፡ በእነሱም ላይ ኃላፊ ኾነህ አላክንህም ፡ ፡ ( አታስገድዳቸውም ) ፡ ፡

doth not man see that it is we who created him from sperm ? yet behold ! he ( stands forth ) as an open adversary !
ሰውየው እኛ ከፍቶት ጠብታ የፈጠርነው መኾናችን አላወቀምን ? ወዲያውም እርሱ ( ትንሣኤን በመካድ ) ግልጽ ተከራካሪ ይኾናልን ?
